Beautiful limited edition system!

These are quite uncommon. GameBoy Micro, last in the GameBoy line never sold well, so they are rather uncommon. But the system plays well (GBA games only), sounds decent for a tiny speaker, and has a sharp, backlit display.
The Famicom Edition was only sold in Japan for Mario's 20th anniversary, and has a beautiful design resembling the classic Famicom controller. If you are a hardcore Nintendo collecter, these are great to have.

Lightweight, Great for Quick Gaming Sessions, with a few Concessions

The Game Boy Micro is a great little system. It's great to have on hand with some quick, sporadic gaming sessions, and can fit in almost any small space. The only drawbacks are the size (it might cramp your hands) and lack of backwards-compatibility (plays only Game Boy Advance games).Lire l'avis complet...

Great product, quick delivery!

So glad I bought this for my husband as a blast-from-the-past present! Not only is the console beautiful and in great quality, but the game cartridge and charger are as well. Also, the product arrived two weeks earlier than expected! It was a great surprise!Lire l'avis complet...

Small but well worth the purchase due to the bright and clear screen.

When I first saw this, I had doubts due to my eyesight being bad around 2010, I use to own a gameboy advance sp and loved it. Pretty much my best on the go console and my 2nd most played console. It wasn't until recently that I've discovered that my eyes couldn't see the screen properly on the sp like back then. I guess my eye problem caused this.

Now that this has arrived, I've finally got the chance to test it out, and wow was it small. I was very skeptical about it until I turned it on. Surprisingly I was able to see everything on the small screen! It was bright and sharp. Played gba games like normal and the 25th reminds me of the famicom controller. The shoulder buttons are going to take a bit to adjust to along with the start and select button. But I can definitely say that this was a great purchase as a return-ee to the gba zone and would definitely recommend this to fellow ex-gba players and collectors. It may be small but it has one heck of a bright and clear screen.

The latest & last in the GameBoy line = Perfection at a steal of a price!

Amazing piece of technology; I do not know why on earth I waited to long to purchase one! As I do not play many GameBoy or GameBoy Color games and limit myself mostly to GameBoy Advance titles, the GB Micro fit my needs perfectly. Small, compact, convenient and not to mention well-designed, I would recommend this final product in the GameBoy line to any willing gamer! The price is hard to beat as well, considering how many wonderful games are currently out there for the GameBoy Advance (and SP) system... Now all that is needed is to switch over to this lovely little device and wave your worries goodbye! The small screen, which may be a concern to some gamers, is nothing to scoff at--every letter and sprite looks crisp and easy to recognize, not harmed one bit by the fact there is a built-in LED light adjustor, along with a headphone jack (which the SP was sadly missing)... All in all, a worthy investment!Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent portable choice.

ah, glorious time of the game boy advance system.
the upgrade this console gave to the previous game boy system was remarkable. one could now play games that were available for the SNES console. imagine that.

With games of Mario, Donkey and even Samus on the list, you could have a blast, terrific fun. With all that being said, there´s one thing that can´t be missed, it´s the size of the console. Was always kind of big for an adult to play with it, imagine being in a business conference with a video game at sight, not quite good. But the micro console was the perfect solution, since you could hide it in your pocket, or even between your hands for a quick pokemon upgrade, or an eventual mario kart race, not to mention beat a boss on Zelda or gave bowser a beating from time to time... excellent memories, Micro GBA is definitly a must in every Nintendo colection. Highly recommended, would give everyone a great time. and will be a great investment, for it would be harder to find in usefull conditions as time passes by.

Game Boy Micro 20th Anniversary Edition

I bought mine used but it came in perfect condition. The Super Card that came with my purchase was what hooked me and I couldn't be happier. With the DSi, DSi XL, and the upcoming 3DS no longer supporting GBA games, I'm happy to have an incredibly portable piece of gaming history that fills that gap. If your game library includes a number of original Game Boy / Game Boy Color games, I'd probably go with the Game Boy SP unless you're willing to play them off of ROMs from an emulator (ie the Super Card). Also, if you intend on using additional face plates for the Anniversary Edition (being obsessed with keeping the Famicom face plate in mint condition I will be) be aware that it does not come with the face plate removal tool. Invest in a decent cover or case as well since these systems seem to be increasingly difficult to find.Lire l'avis complet...

Amazing system, best gameboy made!

This system is great. Awesome looking color scheme, special edition. It is smaller than most cell phones, fits in the palm of your hand, and is a good weight for it's size. The adjustable brightness on the screen is very nice, and even though the screen is small, it is still easy to play games on. It will play any working gameboy advance games. It charges fast, and has a pretty good battery life. excellent for slipping into your pocket and just playing for a few minutes of downtime.Lire l'avis complet...

The game boy micro 20th anniversary edition is not that rare, but finding one in this great condition is amazing. It wasn't cheap but i really wanted one, so for me is worth it.
