Very pleased with the pictures it takes.

Little bit of a learning curve, but it is coming along fine. Was able to download the manual for free from Nikon, but most of my learning has been by trying things and see what happens! Takes beautiful, clear pictures. Has easy to use features for some special effects, color enhancements, and picture cropping, etc. Am sure as time goes on will be able to use more of the features. Lithium battery recharger came with it. Will have to get a USB cable for it to download pictures to computer. Just have to remember to keep your finger out of the front lens when holding the camera to take a picture!

Who needs a cell phone when this takes such great pictures!!

We needed a camera as both my husband & I got rid of our cell phones (best decision ever) and needed something to take pictures on our trip to Aruba. I read all reviews about this model & a model on sale at Costco. We decided that this one was the way to go and with the extended warrantee we would cover our purchase should anything go wrong. We love the pictures it takes and even got some good fish pix in the water. The settings make it possible to take wonderful pictures of both bright sunshine & great sunsets & even pictures of the moon. Love the cool orange color as well. Haven't used all the extras it came with yet or even mastered all the features on the camera. But having lots of fun playing around & trying everything out. Great deal for the money! Absolutely an AWESOME digital waterproof camera! Don't overlook this one!

This is truely the best little camera that I have had the pleasure of owning. My family and I usually take a short trip to an amusement park a few hours away each summer. Like most amusement parks, this one has 3-4 water rides. In past years if we wanted any pictures of the family on these rides we had to buy the ones that are taken by the amusement park ride. Because this camera is lightweight and waterproof we were able to use this camera on all of them and got a lot of first person perspective shots that you otherwise wouldn't get! Its very easy to use and has so many options to choose from, its just plain awesome. Great Camera and a reasonable price!

This camera is hard to find in retail stores, unless you live in a larger city, luckily I was able to buy this one for new for less than I could get it in stores; and that’s including shipping! It’s been a good camera so far. The picture quality is decent for a point and shoot, but if anything is moving very fast in the photo, often it will come out blurry. Decent Camera for Outdoors.

Pretty good for outside pictures with lots of light. But, the slow lens makes quality low light photos difficult. Flash does not cover entire left side of frame on pictures taken around 3 feet. Have not tried it underwater yet, the reason I got it. Should be good for hiking.Lire l'avis complet...

Good, durable underwater camera for casual use.

I originally bought this so my kids would be able to take pics on our cruise. I've had a Canon underwater for several years that I love, but it was more expensive, so I went with this one for the kids. It takes good pics, easy to use, and seems pretty durable. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the pics when I got home, as they didn't seem to quite meet the bar set by my Cannon. I am happy with the purchase, though, as it came through the whole cruise intact & working, even with my 8 year-old taking it out to the pool and the beaches several times. I was especially glad to have it when my Cannon finally bit the dust (I think it got sand in the port, and it didn't seal properly when we took it into the ocean).Lire l'avis complet...

Awsome camera for water!!

Fantastic camera for water time, mosly the time I used more for water, and I'am ready used to many times in pools and waterfalls rivers, and still works fantastic, the photo quality is not really great to grain for me, for the water photos, once I edit the photos that problem goes away, the other settings I'am not trying yet for the camera, to see how the quality of the photos are with the other settings?? But I don't care to much about that because for the only reason I need the camera is for water, and that's why I buy the camera for water purposes, I will tray later the other pictures settings how the quality it is, but for now I'am very please with this camera because works so far fantastic for me and for what I need, without any problems yet, and I hopefully still works like that for long time:)Lire l'avis complet...

Durable camera and it takes really great photos in bad weather.

This is my 6th Nikon AW series camera. The AW100 is the one I keep coming back to because of reliability and it is a super durable camera. I use them in crawlspaces and attics and drop them a lot so my camera has to be durable. The reason I am on number 6 is because after a year or so of dropping them and being horrible to them I have to buy another one. Great camera.
