Wide intimate bokeh baby

I love this Nikkor. It's the latest manual version of the lens, and its nice and fast for a 24mm lens. But it's not huge or heavy, comes with the standard 52mm thread also, which really makes a difference to me as I use it for cinema.

Integrates into my kit perfectly. Sharp, no distortion I can see, but really gives me a very intimate wide point of view since it focuses really close.

The 2.8 was an amazing lens(which I also own), but this f/2 version is a total dream, come true. You say bokeh in a wide lens, yessssirreeee.

Perfect lens

I bought this lens on a recommendation by the Angry Photographer on YouTube as one of the best lenses for the money. I located this lens from a dealer in Japan. The lens arrived very quickly, was packaged very well, and looked brand new. The quality of the glass is flawless. The exterior was as if never touched. The image quality is second to none. This was one of those lenses that was made in Japan with outstanding build quality. I bought the lens to use as a reverse mounted super macro lens. Lire l'avis complet...

Top of the line 24 mm Ais Nikkor

The lens was shipped quickly and was solidly wrapped. The lens was in perfect condition and included a lens hood. I tried the lens on my Nikon FE w/ Kodak film and was impressed by the saturation, sharpness and contrast. This is the kind of lens that makes me want to shoot film again. I love this focal length. I also tried it with my Nikon Df and was impressed by the results. I think the hood saved the day on shots into, or near, the sun. Not going for the $750/$1500 gelded 24 mm 1.4/1.8 G lenses that are now offered by Nikon.Lire l'avis complet...

Nikkor 24 mm D

My go-to lens. Has an effective focal length with my Nikon D70 of 35mm equivalent, which is just right for a wide angle lens. Works perfectly, both AF and AE. Great lens—I love it.

Manual Lens for the Manual Shooter

I was in the market for a 24mm to better complement my 35 and 50mm on my cropped sensor D3100. For the money I make, the prime lens has been my preferred lens type with nikon for their performance at their respective price point. This lens checks all the right boxes for me : Sharp, Fast under low light, Old school glass and steel durability, and real performance under 300 bucks. Lire l'avis complet...

Nikkor 24mm f2....Small, Fast and Sharp!

This used to be Nikon's fastest 24mm until the new 24mm AFS G f1.4 arrived. I like that it is reasonably small and compact. Built like a tank! As were all the manual Ais lenses. It looks tack sharp at f2. Bokeh isnt as nice as the new f1.4. But we are looking at a cost difference of some $2000! It tends to flare easily so take care to shade it. I especially ordered the dedicated HK-2 hood for this.Lire l'avis complet...
