Great condition, mediocre game.

This is nowhere near as fun as Nightmare Creatures 2. There are something like three combos in the entire game THREE. It is gorgeous, sounds great, but this really should have been a PS2 game and one that wasn't clearly rushed. Quite frankly it is sad just how great the enemy and monster designs are compared to how miserable it is to play. Nightmare Creatures for PS1

I bought Nightmare Creatures because killing zombies and monsters sounded fun. The game can be fast-paced and nerve wracking. It's also pretty cool when you slice a zombie in two.The upper torso will try and grab you if you get too close.The boss battles are increasingly hard.(that's the nerve wracking part). What I don't like are the controls.To be effective, you have to use the directional buttons not the analog stick. That slows the gameplay down abit.(I ended up running around in circles until I switched from the stick to the buttons). Overall it is a good game in the horror genre series.Lire l'avis complet...

NightMare Creatures for Playstation 1

I love this game for one main reason....
its like Resident Evil but without the slow boring parts!!!
Nightmare Creatures is at a faster pace, but similar to Resident Evil in which you have to maneuver through zombies, hordes of strange creatures, werewolves and other monstrosities while trying to find and open secret doors.
The plot/story is simple...
youre in 19th-century Prague, creatures have been released by the necromancer Adam Crowley, who has resurrected the Brotherhood of Hecate. All you have to do is kill the creatures and find Crowley.
Great fun!

nightmare creatures (playstation 1)

If you are into games that have monsters and zombies running at you and jumping out of dark places to scare the tar out of you then this is a game for you. however if you are used to using the analog stick get over it is D-pad all the way on this fun game. graphics are not too bad for a game as old as this one. it is a little hard to control sometimes and you can only save at certain times which can sometimes be difficult. All in all though i love this game. It is especially fun to turn off the lights and invite your kids to watch you play it can be like watching a scary movie. it is in my oppinion a must have rarity!!!!! two thumbs upLire l'avis complet...

A classic to be revisited!!

I played this game when it first came out in 2000 and was thrilled, scared, and enthralled then as was my daughter when she played it this week. The story line is great and the monsters and villans are terrifing and surprising throughout the entire game. The graphics are still good for a 9 year old game. The action is constant and the controls are realitivly easy to master. I hear my daughter screaming in the next room right now as she is suprised by another Nightmare Creature! Oldie but goodie. Obviously the years have passed by this game, but is good. I prefer the first one, honestly, but this is great too and it's scarier. The soundtrack really helps to the athmosphere. The nightmare continues...

There are some nice features like "fatality" style finishing moves and an increase in gore. And the soundtrack includes Rob Zombie songs! I definitely recommend this!

High Action

This is a very action packed game with zombies and beasts coming at you around every corner! The controlls are fairly easy to get the hang of after a little practice offering a fair selection of different moves to whoop monster but!! This game is very addictive once you get the hang of the controlls and the moves you can do. Highly recommended if you like a lot of bloody action!!!Lire l'avis complet...

Awesome game

I like so much this game, probably since I played the first nightmare creatures, because the game is so brutal and have too many parts and labyrints to play. I give a 100 in the 1/100 scale. The only thing that I dislike is that the producers of that game, never release a third one. Thanks a lot,
