Classic styling for that NOS mindset

After much deliberation (as well as buying and installing 1970's era NOS Benotto celo tape and not liking it) I decided to go the route of Newbaum's black cloth tape with some twine that I got at a local craft store to finish off the top center on my 1974 Schwinn Paramount restoration. Can't say enough good things about the tape. If you want to take your Newbaum's tape one step further (affordable, classy option) put a few coats of shellac on the finished product.

Newbaum's cloth handlebar tape is a great quality product. I've used it for years and I have it on all of my classic steel bikes. It looks exactly as it should for a vintage build.
