Excellent video quality but requires substantial internet bandwidth
This is one of the best residential outdoor security camera available at present in my opinion based on limited usage so far. The automatic focus on detected person in the view is working really well & you can clearly identify them with the video quality even in zoomed state.
The only challenge I see is the internet bandwidth needed (about 400GB/month for highest quality & 100GB less for each quality level down). Also, the highest quality level made my camera go offline but this can vary based on speed & signal strength of your internet connection. There is no option to use Ethernet, only WiFi.

This is the first camera of this type that I've owned. Setup was very easy and installation was no problem. The quality of the image is great! Great picture and notifications but lots of background noise
Man I love this camera. It's better than I expected in every way except that it picks up a ton of wind noise. It seems like iii really highlights background noise like cars driving past, rain, wind, etc. That aside (since I'm not too worried about sound), the picture is phenomenal and the notifications of movement are very much appreciated. If you can swing the price I'd get one. I'm considering getting a couple more of the cheaper outdoor non iq models for other areas of my property, but I'm using this on the front and would highly recommend it.Lire l'avis complet...

Purchased a second camera to augment my system. Easy installation and setup. Resolution is excellent - images are crisp and clear even after dark (infrared night vision is great).Granted these units aren’t cheap even on the used market but you get what you pay for.
