The bulldog of scope rings
I own scope rings from brands that start with leu, tri, vor, nik, all are around 5 to 20 times more expensive than this one. All of them needed at least lapping and some. Look at the picture here. They align straight out of the bat. These seat perfectly on any Picatinny weaver of my upper receivers and most of my handguards. Only those accessories with not deep enough weaver slots present a problem in seating the base of these rings because, unlike many other scope rings, the bolts across the base are thick therefore strong. That can be fixed by deepening the slots. Pros: impeccable finish, very precise dimensions, great hold on the scope, solid bases and tight fit ALUMINUM -not plastic- 1 inch inserts. Con: the screws on top could be a tad longer. No biggie as I could get longer millimetric narrow head hex socket caps at a local hardware store. Kudos! Keep up the good work. Precise CNC work pays off.Lire l'avis complet...

Good sturdy rings with Warne styled flat bases and flat tops for a low price.
The bottom halves of the rings themselves do not provide a means for leveling one's rifle (picatinny rail levels were needed in my case), prior to laying the scope inside the bottom halves. Similar to my Warne rings, these rings have a flat base that limit movement inside of desired picatinny slots. I used Warne's torque specs (65 in-lbs cross bolts to action mounts; 25 in-lbs top sandwich scope between top halves and bottom halves) without any issue to my scope's finish during a trail fit because NC-Star/VISM did not include any torque specs. After final installation of the scope and additional scope bubble level, I removed the mounted scope by the cross bolts and reinstall it. I lined the reticle up with my plumb bob and my bubble levels were centered at the top of these rings. The other bubble levels were also centered (elevation turret magnetic level, picatinny rail levels, and scope bubble level. I have yet to have taken the rifle to the range to see how it holds up to recoil of .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor but I have confidence that it will hold up. I have since ordered a 2nd set to replace some Leupold Rifleman Side installing rings (which will go on a hunting setup) and a 1.5 inch high set for a Ruger 10/22. These rings pair well with the Aim Sport Alpha 6, HD glass, 30mm scope line which I am also impressed with for the price.Lire l'avis complet...

They are big
Don’t expect these to be low profile or inconspicuous. But they are rugged and tight.
