Great 2 disc recapturing of truly unforgettable moments in Bruins history

1st off wow! nicely done recap of this incredible club through its victories and its defeats, especially those at the hands of the Montreal Canadians.
I bought this as a nice addition to buying the 2011 Boston Bruins Stanley Cup dvd. I am sooooooo glad that I did.
To have historical footage captured forever digitally to view over and over. This is a 2 disc set. The first focuses on the club from its beginnings as a bare bones raggedy bunch of lugs. And then showing how hockey itself became more and more refined adding more sophisticated padding and rinks (including the taking down of the Boston Garden and the newer and more people friendly building) and much more. So many Boston greats are highlighted and how these, were in part, or whole, responsible for hockey the way we know it today. The first disc finishes with an introduction to the 2011 Bruins on their way to cup success.
The second disc is basically a disc of ceremonies of retired greats and special events. By all means get this collection!Lire l'avis complet...

being a lifetime bruins fan,i thought i knew all about them. well after watching this,i was barely informed.they are one of six original members of the nhl.they are the first u.s.franchise,and the fee for joining nhl in 1924 was between $10,000-15,000 dollars.if you wanted to have your own team today it would cost many millions of dollars and over 85 years later the bruins are surely worth millions.i need to say i will watch many more times,just to let everything soak in!!!thats all i got for now,if you want to know more buy the dvd!!!LETS GO BRUINS!!!!!TAKE DOWN THOSE PUKES FROM PHILTHADELPHIA!!!!!LETS GO BRUINS!!!!!LETS GO BRUINS!!!!!GO B"S GO GO B"S GO!!!!!Lire l'avis complet...

Bruins history at its best!

Anyone who is (or was) a Boston Bruins fan can appreciate this DVD.

I would skip family outings (early 70's) at the movies to stay home and watch them. Especially # 4 Bobby Orr.

This DVD goes all the back to the beginning and tells of the history how they became the Bruins.

the old days of bruin hockey and the new

I am a Bruin hockey fan from way back
nice to see some of the old timers again
it had very old films with bad quality
the newer films had very good quality
it brought back many memoriesr>of the old days

Don't know where you're going, if you don't know where you've come from. A great DVD of a great franchise. Just started watching it and I am glued to my TV! A true MUST for all BRUINS fans.
