The Good: Let me start off by saying that Newell reels are the most saltwater friendly reels ever made. They are much lighter than comparable reels in the same class size and they were manufactured with graphite and stainless steel parts. The G220-F is an awesome little reel. It's powerful and compact and has a 5 to 1 gear ratio wich makes it perfect for casting and fishing surface jigs and live baits. Capable of up to 20lbs of drag pressure, this little reel can put the hurt on some bigger species.
