compact device with great features
The NETGEAR Wifi Range Extender EX2700 With N300 Wireless Signal Booster & Repeat is a small compact device with great wifi range for its size.
I like the fact that it is easy to configure using the NETGEAR installatioin assistant.
I carry it with me to ehance the wifi signal in outdoor parks arround my town.

WiFi range booster helps reach basement for XBOX Live game set
This WiFi range booster was purchased on recommendation from a family member. My router is on 2nd floor, and XBOX system in the basement. It was having trouble keeping up during live games. I added this WiFi range booster on the 1st floor, and it solved the problem. Download speeds improved dramatically in the basement. The trick was to put the WiFi range booster half way between the router and the XBOX. When I initially put the WiFi range booster in the basement, it didn't work because it was too far from the source to get a signal and boost it. Set up was easy, I just did the push button method vs online method. The other trick, is that you need to wait 30-60 seconds for the signal to register when you plug it in, or turn on a device. Affordable, effective WIFI extender
I have two of these in my house to provide robust signals to Nest doorbell and outside cameras. I paid $15 on eBay for the 2nd one. It is easy to setup and use to extend your WIFI range throughout your house. Some of my WIFI devices were suffering from weak signals and interference from other WIFIs. Great increase in WiFi coverage
This is a great little plug and play wifi extender. I had to use the WPS button to connect to it and you have to be fairly close to your original router at first but once it's established you can move it farther away. I just wish my devices would auto switch to this router when I get out of range of my original one. I either have to shut off my wifi on the device and turn back on for this to connect or I have to manually connect by selecting the Extender and authenticating myself. NETGEAR N300 WiFi extender. (EX2700)
Well I gotta admit at first I was worried that this was not going to perform as advertised but for pete’s sake; Boy was I wrong. This lil puppy was super easy to install and my computer even seems to run faster than normal. I balled out on this bad boy so I could have my laptop setup and online out in my garage where my WiFi signal was weak AF! But after plugging this mofo in the outlet, I got more bars than Rittz the rapper, (and he’s got bars for days!) Then I put it to the ultimate test. I logged on to Facebook to see if it could keep up with all the stupidity and ridiculous questions people post like “what’s the biggest size Tires my truck can fit stock?” And “yo fam, what’s the pros and cons on me doing a 8” lift with 24x14 wheels plus 4” spacers?” And “hey guys, my truck is lifted, on 30’s, I just hacked the factory exhaust off and removed the active fuel management system, how come I’m getting poor gas mileage?” and “hey, I just bought a new truck, what should my first mod be? Let me see pix of your truck so I can do the same exact thing.” The list goes on and on. But my point is, if it can keep up with all the non driving, nonsense then it’s definitely gotta be one of the best devices out there. I am super happy with it and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone and I would buy it again. Once it’s setup the first time, your all set. Easy to use at low cost, on computer driver hassles
I use this to provide an ethernet port connection via wireless for desktop computers. No hassles with whether the device has a drive for your operating system or not. It helps some!
I purchased this because the tech that came out to install my cable recommended that I get a Wi-Fi Extender for my other TV that streams through the internet with Roku. The program I would be watching would buffer over and over again until it would freeze up. After receiving the extender and plugging it in, I noticed immiately that it was helping. It will still buffer a little, but I no long get the freeze ups where I have to restart it. This would probably be even better in a small home, but my router is 2 rooms away. I would still recommend it. My grandson plays PS4 when he is here and was also having trouble with losing the connection with his friends on the games.
