NBA Live 09, about the same as last year!

I am a huge fan of NBA Live for PSP. This is a great way to keep yourself busy trying to kill time. I just recently purchased this game but was not highly impressed. I actually prefer last year's version better even though I sold it! Here are the pros and cons:

Pros:

The graphics are slightly better. When you are dunking, the are more animated now. They seem to have better dunking patterns and not just the same. There are hot spots for the players on the court. You can light up red zones where the players are more likely to hit the shot. This is kind of cool. The mini game modes and all star weekend have more options. I like the 2 on 2, and the 2 ball competition. The 2 on 2 is a mini version of NBA Jam, but more current. The 2 ball is a cool shooting game. I didn't really care for the ball handling skills game. The All Star Weekend has been improved. More options such as rookie challenge.

I also enjoyed the International League. This is cool to play when you get bored playing the all stars. The crown is a more detailed and not as easy to accomplish. It seems as if it keeps better tally. The game does not seem to freeze up as much as the other one. It keeps it saved better. You can power off the PSP and come right back to the game where you left off without saving. This seemed to work if you wait for a few days to play, not sure if it would work for weeks.

Cons:

I think the players are slower in this game. It appears more realistic when they get tired but they are harder to control. It seems as if they added more offensive/defensive options which make it harder to just dribble fancy. The game seems to not run as fast as the previous version. I guess the more you add, the slower it runs!

Overall, there are more pros than cons, but the game being slower can really be a bummer at times! I have not tried to the online play but once I do, I will update this.

Was actually surprised at how much you can achieve your game play and skill levels. The mini game's and two on two are a great way to level up . Thank

NBA Live 2009 for psp

The game play is fun and you get so much replay out of this game. Also, the mini games are cool.

The only problems with the game is that the load times are slow compared to other PSP games. In addition, during game play you have to double tap the "L" button to bring up the other players icons to make a percision pass and it does not work 80% of the time and when the icons do pop up they only stay up for a split second. As a result, by the time you hit a particular players button it is too late and it results in the button pressed to cause an undesireable consequence.Lire l'avis complet...

NBA Live 09 (PlayStation Portable, 2008)

Very fun game. Was easy for my 10 year old to pick and start playing. Has music saved on the disk. Really cool. Also, has advanced features.

NBA LIVE 09 for PSP

Pretty good game. I liked Live 08 better! ES Sports makes some GREAT games!!! I have been a LONG time fan and will contimue to support ES sports as long as they exist. Madden is popular and I am FINALLY caught up to MAdden 10. Thanks EA sports!!Lire l'avis complet...

NBA Live 09 (PlayStation Portable, 2008)

It's an awesome game and plays very well. For the size, to me it's as good as the NBA Live 09 for PS2. If you have a PSP and you like basketball this game is a must have.
