Was for my wife. She is a Strout fan and loved it.

Decent book.

First the book, was in excellent shape for being used!
The book starts off all over the place and seems very basic. Hoping it gets better.

No thanks

A real stinker. Disappointed. Main character is an author in the book, but cannot write a compelling narrative--makes no sense. Dull as dishwater.

Relationships and family

My first Strout novel. Very much enjoyed. So realistic and the dialogue was excellent. Recommend. 4.5 Stars

Absorbing and moving. You'll wish this book was longer. Fortunately for us, Elizabeth Strout has written more books.
