It's a love/hate relationship

I purchased the magenta Motorola Razr V3 and I love the look and feel. It is a good size. Large keypad with great features. But I have a couple of complaints and they are biggies for me. #1) I am unable to see the screen if I am outside. Just glare. #2) (and this is the deal breaker for me) I didn't realize when I purchased it that I wasn't asking the right questions. Yes it has a camera, yes it supports mp3 files, but is lacking in memory. I Installed the motorola phone tools and was only able to transfer 2 songs and between that and the few pictures I have taken it seems that I am nearly out of memory. It didn't occur to me that 5 mb of memory wouldn't be enough. So either my product is defective, or I am out of memory because 5mb is not enough. Regardless, dissapointed because I love the phone, but I'll be returning it and trying either the Motorola W490 (5mb memory + a removable memory card with an additional 2 gig memory) or the MotoRazr V3i which also takes a memory card. Won't buy again, but not horrible

Not a horrible phone. A few kinda-major problems:
1) My phone simply cuts out and turns off from time to time (several times/week) even though I have all bars of service and full battery life.>2) I had problems with charging it. It wouldn't charge from the USB port unless it was on, and so if you let your phone completely die before charging it, you cannot use the USB to charge it. The AC charger didn't work some times, and I had to play with the cord to get it to work.
3) The battery case doesn't hold shut well, and I expect to have to use tape soon :(
4) My phone has some other language for it's dictionary. It will not auto-complete words in the Text mode -- even though I have changed the default language to English (I guess it just doesn't have an English dictionary loaded?). I bought it on Ebay from a company that claims to be from the states.

On the positive side, I like the sleek design, and the keys and menus are simple to use.

I won't buy one again, but maybe I just got a lemon.Lire l'avis complet...

Motorola V3 Razr, CHerry Blossom Tattoo

This is a great looking phone with everything that you need to make basic phone calls. If you don't use the text features much and don't need all of the fancy whistles and bells that some of the other phones have, then this is the phone to buy. It is attractive, gets good reception, takes pictures and can also go on the internet. You can text, on it, but it has only the regular keypad on it. The price is right, too!Lire l'avis complet...

Motorola Razr V3 Cell

Personally for me the old school razr does the job just fine. It has the main functions that I use like phone book, texting, alarm settings, sceen saver, speaker, calendar, and camera. Photos can be transferred and saved to a computer hard drive via Motorola Phone Tools software. The only thing that's kinda outdated is the single key texting without a touch screen keyboard. This razr can handle being dropped a lot better than a touch screen cell phone too. If I work around the problem with the screen, it's a good phone

Good phone, puts up with constant use. BUT BUT BUT the inside screen has developed a dark spot that seems to be growing and may eventually obstruct the view. Not happy about that. Great phone no longer available in stores!

I bought this phone for my girlfriend to replace one she had that was the same. We had gone to AT&T to get her one, and they no longer carry it. So, after finding it on Ebay already unlocked and with chargers for the wall and car, I couldn't pass it up. This phone has everything she needs. She's had it for about 2-3 months now, and STILL loves it. When looking back at the phone this replaced, they DO stand up to abuse, as she had had the other one since it was new (About 3 years). The battery was actually the issue, but due to scratching and missing buttons after 3 years of use, I just got her the new phone. Overall it is a good purchase. The camera takes good pictures, and it will hold quite a few ring tones. love: flip phone, small and slim,easy to use, consistent and long-term performance
like: decent battery life
dislike: ring tone options are stale
I bought this phone a few years back, got it wet, then used my husband's until I dropped it too much. Finally got a new phone (different brand) and lost it. When I decided to buy a new one, I already had a blackberry for work and wanted something small and reliable for a personal cell, so I went back to my RAZR and absolutely love it. The Best Cell Phone I Have Ever Owned

I have had my Razor now for about a year and I just love it, and my Razor is my 6Th cell phone and it is by far my favorite. I love it's slim sleek style I can stick it right in front pocket of my jeans, and just forget it until it rings or vibrates, and it is a light weight phone. It also has a great camera that can take some really great crisp pictures. Also takes some nice short video's. Keeps a Great Signal, & long battery life. One of my favorite is being able to put picture I.D for people calling you that is just awesome that way you see a picture of the person who is calling just so cool then you can also give everyone there own ring tone. I saw where someone left a review saying these phones break easy well I have had mine now for about a year, and I have drop it a few times and on hard surface and it doesn't have a crack on it & no malfunctions of any kind it still works like it did when I bought it new. My whole family loves the Razor so much that they want me to up grade their phones on their B-Days to Razors. I know I love it so much that I am going to upgrade soon to the one with the MP3 player on it. I do say this is a phone I am glad I got and my money was well well spent on. The best!

I know this is old technology but for my needs it works perfectly.
My daughter gave me her old Razr many years ago and it's still working but getting a little tired looking. I just replaced it with one in better condition.
I use T- mobile pay ahead minutes and use about 1000 minutes a year.
It is very robust, the size is just right with excellent sound.

this v3 is super slim and solid,unlike the older box model razors.3 ways to pay gives you the most options on any plan.no hidden scams like others.the display is perfect size,keypad is great,my camera usb cord fits,so no extra cable to buy.best $80.00 i ever spent.preloaded with more options than any other phone.it has the most produced accessories of any model phone made.usb connection works great.reception is great.it is twice as slim as any pic shows it to be.camera is great,takes video.it will take weeks to play with all the options.color display is very bright and can be adjusted,just like all the features on the phone.cant say enough.i am very picky when it comes to a good phone,you will be happy if you buy one.t-mobile gives you a lot of mins for your$$$$.Lire l'avis complet...
