$50 units are most likely factory refurbs, but still worth the money.

It's a fair value for $50, terrible at MSRP ($129). The design is fantastic but the audio quality is a little lacking. It does get very loud, though, so that's a good thing. The pairing is easy, the operation is easy, but the battery life is mediocre (5 hours play on ~2 hour charge). This is a very simple device, absolutely no bells and or whistles, all it does is play whatever is streaming from the paired device. It has one job, and does it adequately. The only major annoyance is an audible hissing when the unit is on. It is very noticeable on standby and permeates quieter songs.

Please note the company's site sold refurbed, silver units for $50, marked down from $150 (old marketing trick). If you buy one "new" for $50 and it still has the $150 price tag on it, you most likely got a refurbed unit. Its not a bad thing, just don't expect too much.Lire l'avis complet...

Great sound for a small device

The sound quality is great on this little box. I listened to it at the store and was sold. I bought it to listen to in the shop. But even in my shirt pocket, it was drowned out. I use it alot on the deck and in the garage. Can see a bunch of other places that I could use it.
Battery life was very poor at 3 hours. Charge time was 2 hours. That may change as the battery ages.
That being said, it's not the Monster I was hoping for but worth every penny.

Looks good and works great!

Monster SuperStar

This is the 3rd Monster speaker I've purchased. This is a awesome speaker with GREAT sound and simple to pair up with any Bluetooth device. I've tried others and they don't compare to the quality of the Monster SuperStar. Even though it's water repellent I DON'T recommend putting it in a pool, shower yes pool no pool!!! The reason I've bought 3 is because my Grandkids like them as much as I do, so they ended up with the other 2. This one is mine, mine I tell you. Well built. Speakers r or CLD b in fragile spot? Depends on ur active use of it, what ur gonna put it thru. Nice and loud tho. CLD use a tad bit more bass. But it's decent. Me likes. It's pretty decent

It has great quality sound, but the nass, tremble, and fade sound way too narrow. It is good for movies and casual radio. Just wish it had more "boom" for it's buck.

Monster Super Star Bluetooth Speaker

I was looking for a Bluetooth Speaker. I had priced it at Best Buy & WalMart. This speaker works the BEST Of all the Bluetooth Speakers I have tried. The Price I paid on ebay was half the cost as it would cost at Walmart. I will also say. This Speaker has a lot of volume.
