Best Value vs Pelican Cases- Indestructible
I needed a case that would fit 2 gopro's along with their batteries and accessories. My Budget was $50 and it needed to be weather resistant as I take the cameras to some wet places. The Pelican 1200 was the leading case in my budget but the size would be tight with all my gear. I came across the monoprice case on sale for $19.99 and it was almost twice the storage capacity of the Pelican.
I was not able to find many videos or reviews on the case but the pictures and description ensured solid construction and design.
Once I received the case I was impressed by the build quality and the case truly exceeded my expectations. The plastic is very tough and I would not be shocked to see it survive a 3 story drop. The pluck and pull foam makes for easy customizing and organization and the deep shape allows for two levels of storage,
I currently have two gopros with extra cases and batteries on the top and all my clamps, floats and straps on the bottom. I still have more room to add another gopro or accessory.
The case is very weather resistant and secure for inclement weather. I have not tested a submersing the case but I have hosed it down with no leaks. I believe the tough locking clamps ensure an airtight seal.
Overall this case in incredible. For half the price of a pelican, you can get pelican quality with much more storage space.

Good bargain, Half the price of the competition.
I am using the case for a concertina, which just barely fits into it. The case seems indestructible and works nearly as well as the Pelican - which is twice the price. The fasteners are a bit hard to work for a while but eventually get easier to use. I had to shave some of the material off to make it easier to close and open. I would buy it again if I had the need. Nice case,fun to set up with puck in foam.

Best value vs Pelican
I'm actually impressed with this case! Great price, especially compared to the price of Pelican cases!
I have not tested its strength lol. But I figured I'm not going to drop it out of a plane or run it over like the pelican company did in a video.. Lol And it's unlikely I'm going to be around water for my specific use, so pelican didn't seem worth the money to me when this would work just as well for my needs.

Great quality build with attention to detail
I was skeptical at first because it is fairly cheaper than the Pelican Case brand, but when it arrived and I opened the box... I was beyond overcome with happiness and satisfaction.
The Monoprice Weatherproof Hard Case is very sturdy, well designed and when I opened it... all I could do was grin.I love it.
I purchased this for my camera and a couple lenses. I knew right away my gear would be safe and secure, regardless of how the case is handled.

Tough container, great value.
Great value in a watertight container. Seems as well made as ones costing many times as much. Padding is excellent.
Case is super tight when closed. I am using the case to contain radiological measuring instruments for my CERT team work. Only drawback is on case I received latches are so tight I need a small pry par to open the case. Not a problem for me. I just clipped a 5" pry bar I had to the case. Lire l'avis complet...

Great case for price
The latches are very stiff and a strange design. But over all a very nice case. The price I got it for made it a real value. Right after I purchased it the price was raised 30%. That was a real disappointment as I wanted another but now I won't get another. Good luck.Lire l'avis complet...

Good product but foam need improvement.
Overall a great product, the Pelican 1300 costs double what this case costs and they have the same dimensions. Solid construction, but the foam that comes with this case is where the quality is apparent. Pelicans have a rigid foam that provides a close grip. This foam is soft, easily rips, and fails to keep form after repeated use. If you have a valuable item just buy a Pelican, worth spending the extra money and not needing to replace foam.Lire l'avis complet...
