Sexy Vampire Bros!

I am slowly getting into the swing of "Vampire Diaries." After watching the first and second seasons of "True Blood," I was wanting more of these blood-sucking vampires! This show is more of a soap-opera or teen based show, which made me kind of put it off for awhile. I was already an Ian Somerhalder fan (from Lost episodes and movies) and when I found out he was in this show, I knew I had to give it a try. His character (Damon) on the show is fantastic and he plays him well. His brother Stefan is a little goody-two-shoes but I guess you have to have a balance between good and evil. They make up the sexiest vampire brothers I've ever seen. The big difference between this show and "True Blood" is that these vampires can exist in daylight and blend in into the general public. This opens up whole new opportunities for our fang brothers and greater story lines without limitations of day vs. night. Anyways, as I get more into the first season episodes, you find yourself wanting more. It's a great show and the acting isn't too bad either (for a television show). Not your grandpa's vampires

A bunch of affable young folk. The guys are handsome, and the women are quite alluring, but all deadly hazardous to their hapless victims . Not that many victims, though, since these vampires are civilized and fairly well behaved. Altogether, very entertaining and fun.Lire l'avis complet...

Pretty good despite some flaws.

I love this show, I've been watching it on TV every week since the first episode, and I'm just now collecting the dvd sets for myself. The price was awesome! I couldn't go wrong there... Although, the condition says brand new. This arrived to me and was NOT brand new. Packaging was opened, scratched and dented. The first disk has many scratches. Still works, but disappointing. I was hoping the seller would be honest enough to send me a brand new box like the description says...Lire l'avis complet...

Absolutely Amazing

This is one of the best series ever. I enjoyed the books and just recently read the latest installment, but I must say that I love the television series even more. It is truly amazing to watch the characters come alive on screen. The cast is made up of a diverse and wonderfully talented group of young people. And at the risk of sounding shallow, there is not one unattractive person on this show! Believe me, it doesn't hurt to watch a show made up nothing but beautiful people! I had my reservations at first because of some of the major differences between the book and the show, but you really just have to put all your feelings and expectations from the book aside and view the show as its on seperate creation. If and when you can get past the differences I know you will love it as much as I do. I can't wait for season 2 to come out on dvd!Lire l'avis complet...

Fantastic journey into the crowded supernatural world and people you like.

The Twilight series of books and movies opened a door that many of us were wanting filled. The Vampire Diaries is a superb TV show with an excellent cast. The stories are unique, but also familiar. Teenage love and problems are complicated by vampires at school and in a town rich with a supernatural history. Witches, werewolves, ancient vampires that none can kill. The sheriff's daughter becomes a vampire, and this creates a unique situation because the sheriff has lived in this town her entire life, raised with a deep hatred of vampires. Eleana Gilbert is a doppelganger for the vampire who turned both Stephan Salvatore and his brother Damon just after the Civil War. But she is a very old vampire. It is very enjoyable and I highly recommend both Season 1 and 2, season 3 will start this fall.Lire l'avis complet...

Gotta Love Those Blood Suckers

This series is awesome! I was hooked from the very first episode and can't get enough. Could hardly wait all summer for the new fall season to start. Not only does the series have HOT people to look at, there is also humor in the episodes. Some of the episodes really keep me locked in, like I'm in a zone, and I can't believe an hour has passed so quickly. A Must Watch

If you aren't watching The Vampire Diaries you don't know what you are missing. If you love Twilight or any of the other Vampire Series then this is for you. Based off of the book series by L.J. Smith. I have to say I don't like the books very much but the show only takes bit and pieces from the books and is phenomenal. Even my husband watches it with me religously every Thursday Night. We have every episode DVR'd and we didn't erase them until we got the DVD. The extra footage is also great to watch and they have some deleted scenes as well. If you want an addicting show that is far from predictable, here you go.

This is the most addicting show on the face of the Earth. DEFINITELY worth getting in to. I first watched it on a rainy day my senior year of college because I was bored out of my mind. I thought the pilot was just okay, but after episode 2 I was HOOKED. I've always been a big fan of vampires (since well before the Twilight fad.) I'm happy to see a show that sticks very close to classic vampire lore, rather than "glittery" vampires, as much as I love Edward. This show constantly keeps you guessing and has twists and turns that you don't see coming. That's the best part of fantasy shows. Great show for all ages! The Best Show Ever

The DVD set comes with 5 disks and has 22 episodes total. It also includes behind the scenes footage that is absolutely hysterical.The box case is beautiful, the disks are intricately designed, and the booklet that comes with it has sexy pictures of the cast along side the episode details. This show is by far one of the most exciting shows on television and to pass it up would be a loss. It's filled with love,death,betrayal,passion and loyalty. Very Interesting show!

This show is very good. I bought it because I watched the first episode of Season 2 on television and realized I missed the whole first season. I have read the books and they are not-so-good. I really liked the first book but then it got way out of hand and all this crazy stuff started happening that is so far out there (not that vampires aren't out there, just this stuff was WAY WAY out there). I really like that the show doesn't follow the books very much, which normally gets on my nerves. The acting and the script of the show are very entertaining.
