Unique design that cuts well
It's a nice unit, good power, the ergonomics while fully functional take a little getting use to when you are accustomed to the straight cutter. The benefits also bring some new less desirable features such as cutting against a flush surface, the short stroke makes a cut take longer than it should but the rpm makes up for some of it. Battery life seems good so far, used it on cutting an old dual exhaust off the 442, some tree limbs, opening up a wall and so far it works. The problem with Milwaukee is the lack of hard side cases for their tool packages to better protect them. Very limited choices in that respect.Lire l'avis complet...

Great must have tool
The Hackzall is a great tool, beside my M18 impact driver it’s the second most used tool on my bench. I’ve cut tree limbs 4-6 inches in diameter with no problem just keep a second battery handy if your cutting a lot of big stuff. Cuts metal and lumber like it should. Hackzall great for cuts through different materials
Incredible power in a compact tool. I used this bare tool with my XC battery and cut exhaust piping, then switched over to a pruning blade and cut through a couple of Aspen trees 7-8 inches in diameter with relative ease. Awesome tool. Lightweight and crazy powerful
This thing is just a beast in a compact form. This is by far one of the most useful tools to use for handyman, plumbing, electrician and network cabling and infrastructure purposes.
I have used this for cutting conduit, added a pruning blade to cut tree branches and cut EMT pipe. All of this is just a breeze for the tool. It can handle 2x4´s like butter and is great for most of the materials you would nominally need to cut in a tight spot. It is not designed for heavy steel, but with the right blade, you can manage this too as long as you are patient and have the piece well supported. Battery life with the 5 Ah battery is great and the balance of this tool is phenomenal.
Cutting free hand without some sort of vice or clamping jig can be tough since this tool is very powerful and makes the material vibrate if not held well, however, this was not any kind of limitation for my uses.
If I had anything partially negative to say about it, it is that it is a bit wobbly when standing up on it´s battery, so it would be best to lay it on it´s side. This isn´t really a game changer for me but in some scenarios it is nice to have a tool stand up securely when not in use. Lire l'avis complet...

Best sawalls I’ve ever used
Battery last longer and it truelly does not vibrate and shake your arm off like the normal style. Yes it looks funny, but totally worth it!

Exactly what I wanted it doesn’t work so it doesn’t get anything done for me it has no value to me and just sits on the shelf doing nothing but collecting dust and it makes people think I actually work hard enough because I own broken tools thanks (Insert eBay name here)
