Mikuni - one of the best

Great carburetor. Mikuni's are OEM for many applications and for good reason - they work and work well. Wide range of tuning options readily available. You can get jets for this at almost any shop with a parts counter and easily online.

Tuning instructions are also readily available. I picked up one of these for a custom built 250 cc ohv engine on my trail bike. Runs great, idles reliably, transitions are smooth and top end screams.

Great carb

Used it on my 73 Yamaha LT 100 and ran perfectly just the way it came. Spark plug a nice brown color so not rich or lean and the engine revs right to the top.
