It works!! IT WORRRRKS!!
I was literally getting tired of the Xbox one and couldn't play my old games on it. I heard the newer console was gonna be backwards compatible but couldn't afford so I took the risk to get the original XBox. It works very well. It takes me back to when you didn't need to pay for BS content like these newer games. Until the price for the newer Xbox goes down, I'm sticking with the original XBox.Lire l'avis complet...

Old but still good.
The console couldn't read discs when hooked up but there was no "guaranteed to work" in the description so I expected as much. It was also an easy repair so that made it even less of an issue.
Been having a lot of nostalgic fun replaying old games I greatly enjoyed in my youth.

Love the Xbox. Has every game ever made on any platform before 2007. If you’re a lover of old school games this is for you. Been playing it for about a month or so now and haven’t run into any problems. Games save like they’re supposed to and multiplayer works perfectly. Original X-box Review
X-box works great, nice that there were games included. The price was amazing and the system works! Everything advertised as it was. Took a little while to get here, a few weeks, and had a little glitch with the system, it wouldn't read the games. I had to try multiple times, but that's no one's fault, it's an older system. Oldie, but a goodie!!

Exactly what I wanted.
Everything is perfect out of the box except one thing. Would be nice if 1080i was disabled in the config, since the dashboard included doesn't support it and will give you a black screen if you're using an Xbox-to-HDMI cable. Not a big deal if you know how to connect to the Xbox from your computer, but does still make it not immediately plug-and-play.Lire l'avis complet...

It was so good I had to get it again!
I got the original XBOX way back in 2002, as a gift. The console lasted me up until 2013 and let me just say, this console is the most fun I have ever had with a gaming system. Even now that i own a 360E and a XB1S I cannot help but go back and revisit my old classic XBOX games. I purchased another one because, like i said, my 1st XBOX died back in 2013, caused by a leaking clock capacitor. I was so sad that before tossing my original XBOX in the dump I opened it and kept the original 8gb HDD in hopes that someday in the future the modding community would find a way to unlock the original xbox HDD to download the data stored into a computer. I regret dumping my 1st XBOX. Anyways, It's 2017, and despite the xbox 360 having BC for classic xbox games, I cannot play many of my classics on the 360. So I did the most natural thing, I searched for a decent looking XBOX from a reasonable EBAY member. Im so glad I can play my games again. Now I plan to softmod this badboy, upgrade the HDD and install my game library to the console itself. On a further note, If you plan to get an original xbox, get yourself one of the Logitech precision cordless controllers, they make the gaming experience so much better, I recommend it.Lire l'avis complet...
