Avoid Mic Mouth

I get right on my mic when I sing. I am not always able to or remember to clean my mics with a mouthwash soaked toothbrush to get remnants of dried spit, etc. off of my mic head. I have bought whole new pics so many times to keep from getting "mic lip" or because the inside pop filter breaks down over time, especially when being cleaned every so often.
