Tricky but awesome
Based on my experience, I would not recommend to attempt self installation. The sight itself is remarkable. Very easy to acquire sight picture after a little range time. This is a difference sight picture. You are putting the circle and dot on where you want the bullet to strike the target. Installation was a bit difficult. The base had to be struck very hard to get into the dovetail. Once in place the base was slightly deformed due to being struck. After installation the sight base had to be filed flat and then the mounting screws had to be slowly tightened to ensure proper alignment. There is a bit of lateral movement until the sight is locked down. I was able to get things lined up to striking point of aim at 10 yards, but without access to a range and workbench this could have been miserable. This is a combat sight, not a precision sight, but I am very pleased with the outcome. I believe in the heat of a self defense encounter this will make accurate shot placement much easier.Lire l'avis complet...

very nice sight
I installed mine and it was a challenge. I ended up taking the sight apart and working just with the base. I clamped the slide between two blocks of black walnut on my drill press table. I then used a steel drift to drive it into place. Once centered I put the sight back together.Lire l'avis complet...

Great help for Older People with ageing Eyes!
Wanted a sight that would help me with target acquisition at defensive distances! (73 years old).
