Megaman Legends 2---a good yet not so good game

What I like about this game is that it is the third most awaited installment to the Megaman Legends series that came after the Misadventures of Tron Bonne and I love the Anime prospect in it I like seeing games that reperesent anime in all of its glory I also like the Action and Bossses you fight in the whole game and all the special and buster upgrades you get in the whole game its very well planned out for enjoyment.I also Liked all of music in the game form the creepy undergound ruins to the boss music it was all great and cool and I hope to hear more on future games of Megaman. What I do not like about this game is the freaking ending I thought it was one of the worst endings in the series it the ending was realy lame MEGAMAN was stuck on a mechanical robot and the Bonnes including Tron and Roll and the Proffessor were thinking of a way to help Megaman Get out out of this problem Plus nothing of the finding of Roll's parents was resolved Roll never found out where her parents were and the story just ended like that I think this is one of the worsest enindgs of all the Megaman Series even the Original Megaman Legends ending was way better it had substaqnce it had all that a game desired at lest it had an interesting ending that left you thinking WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!!! this what I really hated in this game ad nothing more the rest was fine. I decided to buy this game because it is a hard and rare game to buy for a low price in ebay and even in ebay there was not many Megaman Legends 2 games on sale I bought the one that suited my choice one that was low on price on me one for $25.00 Plus shipping and Handling $5.00 a total of $30.00!! that cheap for a rare and hard game to get!!! the other reasons I bought the game are obvious it is because I wanted to see what was going to happen from Megaman Legends that left me in despair for more that and all of the goodies in the game. And I have one more thing to say about this game I believe Capcom is not going to create a Megaman Legends 3 soon if they did it would have to come out on the Playstation 3 that is all long time for an awaited sequels to second and it would have to better than its predesessor to be an enjoyable game this is one fo the things I mostly hate Megaman Legends 2 ended where it looked that there was going be a sequel but there is no sequel up to date 6 years have Passed since its original release date since 2000 and no news or rumors about a Megaman Legedns 3 what is up with that and that is all I have to sya about a great title that wa good but lacked some good things that made the first Megaman Legends a great game that is all!!!!!!!!!!Lire l'avis complet...

pretty good game over all

I thihk the game play in this installment was beter than the first. The graphics have obiously been improved, making it play much more smoothly. My only dislike is the ending, exactly what everyone elses problem is with it. I mean, for cryin out loud! Megaman is stuck on that mechanical homeworld with no way off, Tron and Roll are left trying to get him back, they only find her mother and still have no clue about where her father is, and there just doesn't seem to be any sign of another sequel. I mean, Capcom could at least make a game based on Roll and what she does to get him back, or another one on Tron, or even start another one with Megaman still sutck on the stupid iron ball in space seeing Roll and Tron coming for him in a rocket ship. I hate this cliff-hanger of an ending! It leaves the player with no idea about what might happens next and then they expect a sequal! But none so far........(sigh) Anyways, other than that, the game is really really good!!!! I love it-been a Megaman fan since i was 6-still just as into it now at 16 as i was then! Looks incredible for PS1 standards, voice acting is really cheesy, fun to play even if the controls haven't aged super well.

It is in functioning condition, and it was under $50. I don't really care that it can't seem to load cutscene audio properly after sometimes. I'm just glad to hold a game as unusual as this in my own hands (in the box of course).Lire l'avis complet...

Megaman Legends 2 for Sony PS1

For those who have never played a megaman game before or for those who have this game is very very different from earlier megaman games. Its not your 2-D graphics and supermario type gameplay; this game is full 3-D action and you have way more freedom than the 1st megaman legends game. The begining is kinda of slow and it takes a while to actually get enough money to buy good weapons and armour, but once you get about 1/5 of the way through the game it just becomes awesome. The enemies and bosses are tough and get tougher as you go along but your weapons library also increases as you go along and you even have the option to upgrade pre-exsisting weapons. The game is considered a very rare find because Capcom only sold limited quantities, but on ebay you can usually pick 1 up for around $25-$30 used. Its well worth every penny and it does not disapoint. A dual shock controller is highly recomended for that extra feel when you are in danger or if you get hit by a enemy!!Lire l'avis complet...

Wonderful game for true fans!

Continuing the saga of Rockman Dash, Rockman Dash II pleases the gamer and adds new bonuses that makes the game even more worth playing! The controls and game play are very similar to the first one, which makes transition next to nothing!

IMPO, this game was well worth the time it took to find, and the money it took to buy. My only regret is that there's a massive cliff-hanger at the end, and Capcom thus far hasn't made any indication to continue the Rockman Dash saga. Mega Man Legends 2 For The PlayStation

Well, I own the original but I am thinking about getting it again because I lent mine out (a while back, of course) and got it back with a missing manual, cracked case and scratched disc. With that said, the Megaman Legends Series (1 & 2) are my favorite Megaman games. I borrowed 2 from a friend and gave it back to him exactly how I got it. If only all people took good care of things whether it is/was theirs or not (like I do). Anyway, I played and beat both of them and love the 3D adveture aspect as well as the music. Man, the music/instamentals in games like Megaman and Sonic are unlike any other and no matter how old they get, I will never forget them. A remarkable game that deserves a 3rd installment. O, that reminds me, I only have 1 PlayStation classic left....yeesss....Lire l'avis complet...

one of the best mega man games

The second iteration surpasses the original in all aspects. The lock-on mechanism has had the bugs worked out so you can actually move while you use it. The graphics are obviously better, but they still have cubes for hands. The story is more involving and blends the thematic elements well together. My only complaint is that the ending is somewhat unfinished, which is kind of irritating.Lire l'avis complet...

A solid stand-alone franchise...!

This game is just excellent. What began in 1997 to build up a spin-off story for the mega man series with MegaMan Legends, became in 1999 a complete stand-alone franchise with MegaMan Legends 2. Complete 3D action for this games makes MegaMan Legends 2 a gem for PlayStation 2. One of the best Psone games and Megaman fans need to buy this!

One reason I bought this is that previous copy I bought years ago have some hiccups in the cutscenes. Another is due to regret to buying a second copy while Gamestop still sold Psone games for cheap. Other than missing the booklet (easy remedy for later) this game plays well and the cutscenes this time don't hiccup so I'm really happy I got this game.
