Mac & Sally are BACK~ at long last SEASON 2~ EXCELLENT~

PLOT: after years of waiting SEASON two: Mac & Sally a modern Nick and Nora solve crime~ as Police Commissioner McMillan and his lovely wife Sally.

this set is plays great ~ unlike Season one that had issues with about every DVD set sold~ Mac no longer has the moustache he sported in season one~ NIGHT OF THE WIZARD: John Astin stars in a seance goes wrong~ Cameron Mitchell and Eileen Brennan~ GOOD~ BLUES FOR SALLY M~ Keir Dullea stars as a musician who newest hit is named BLUES FOR SALLY M (after Sally McMillan) who claims she never met him~ this is a very good episode ~ lots of twists as the on going joke is WHY would someone dedicate a song to someone they never met? VG~ COP OF THE YEAR~ SGT Enright is framed for the murder of his EX wife~ a boring episode ~ TERROR TIMES TWO~ classic evil twin just about every 1970s series had~ Mac HAS an evil twin who takes over his life~ and Mildred and Sally are busy wondering why MAC is acting so odd~ Mildred is hilarious in this one~ VG~
NO HEARTS NO FLOWERS~ Sheree North as one of the first *criminal profilers* on TV as a NUT is stalking Sally leaving her candy hears and flowers~ VG BEST on this SET~ THE FINE ART OF STAYING ALIVE ~ Sally is kidnapped and offered in trade~ the ransom is a MASTERPIECE~ we get to see Sally and Macs courtship in some flashbacks~ and Mildred is her sarcastic BEST in this episode~ FUN~ VG~
TWO DOLLARS ON TROUBLE TO WIN~ Adopted Uncle Jackie Coogan has some one trying to ADD to his heart trouble~ GOOD but weakest one on this set~

TRIVIA: this was the HIGHEST rated season of the entire McMillan series.
** SALLY TRIVIA: Susan Saint James REAL life sister guest stars in two bit parts this season** FIRST AS a Sally decoy double in NO HEARTS NO FLOWERS and as a Museum Tour Guide in THE FINE ART OF STAYING ALIVE~ they look alike except the sister has blue eyes**

I GIVE THIS 5 OUT OF 5 FOR PLOT,** humor** LOTS OF STARS AND AT LONG LAST WE HAVE IT~ AND IT PLAYS JUST FINE~

COMPLETE WITH Shag Hair hair cuts... BIG GAS GUZZLING CARS... bell bottoms on everyone.. UGLY wide ties... and that very popular HIDEOUS avacado shade of green and of course DIAL TELEPHONES just about everywhere~Lire l'avis complet...

McMillan & Wife the classic 70s "whodunit" series

McMillan & Wife Season 2 brought us more suspence and intrigue with episodes dealing in wizards, split personalities, Mac's double, psychopaths, and kidnappings. Most of the episodes have a lot of humor and Hudson gets to play a dual role, also there was a lot of character development sealing the family feeling between Mac, Sally, Mildred and Enright. My favorite episodes were The Night of the Wizard, Terror Times Two, No Hearts No Flowers and Two Dollars On Trouble To Win. (With this episode you could see Hudson, Coogan & James having a lot of fun while filming) Mac absolutely adores Sally and you can feel it and that makes this series special.Lire l'avis complet...

Nice series and of course the music score.

It is nice that the studio has finally released some of the tv shows from the early 70's, the acting, music score and locals are very refreshing.

THRILLING 70'S COP SHOW TO WATCH!

I had bought the McMilan and Wife DVD used. I had watched all of the episode and the DVD didn't skip nor it hadn't had any problems for a used DVD. I had felt lucky to have this one in the U.S. This particular DVD orignally sold in Canada. I had been looking for this one all over U.S. Excelent mystery episode to watch.Lire l'avis complet...

Such a great time to watch tv, on Sunday nights. The mystery series shows were all
