If you like to make cupcakes, this is the book you will need. It has the regular cupcakes and then the more fancy kind you might want for a party or for company. I prefer to make an entire cake but there is only me and my husband at home now so cupcakes are just right for two of us. I make the entire recipe, frost a few for us and freeze the rest for another day. It's perfect. Martha's cookbooks are sometimes full of recipes with ingredients that are unique and hard to find at your everyday, local grocery store. This is not the case with "Cupcakes.". It has a wonderful collection of both traditional and creative recipes that my kids love to browse and dream about. The recipes have been carefully selected to maintain Martha's excellent reputation. Great cookbook

I love reading cookbooks and own a lot of them. This one I bought because it is specifically about cupcakes (which I love). Is this book compelling? Yup, if you're like me and like to read cookbooks.

A Martha Must-Have!

I love this book! If you have the "cookies" book, it is similar in the format, and lots of pictures and very detailed. I've had my book for 2 weeks and so far I've made: Strawberry cupcakes, Yellow Buttermilk cupcakes with fluffy vanilla frosting, and Devils Food cupcakes with Chocolate sourcream frosting. All were Yummy! If you enjoy baking and reading about cupcakes, then you'll love this book too!

Love the great pictures. Have already used several good recipes & ideas. My daughter and I have gone through the book several times and always see something new. Found a new frosting recipe I plan to use forever - got rave reviews the first time I tried it at a birthday party.
