Mario Kart at its best!

Mario Kart for the gamecube is still fantastic 20 years on, the double driver experiment is simply fun and provides great competition with friends and family. Newer Mario Kart games have upped the graphics quality, but the experience remains very similar to the successful formula dished by the Good Ole' Gamecube.

The multiplayer experience of course is only local (and limited to 4 players unless you do some bizarre LAN party with expensive gear), but great for an afternoon of pizza, friendly bullying, and soda.

On the downside, this particular Gamecube game has skyrocketed its price unbelievably, and although great, and the best for his platform, perhaps not better than current Mario Kart offerings. Lire l'avis complet...

Outstanding multiplayer experience

Hands-down the best multiplayer experience you can find on GameCube, with the possible exceptions of Mario Strikers and Mario Party. Definitely an essential for anyone who has people to play with. You can play alone as well, unlocking new karts, tracks and even racers in the process, all while improving at the game. Decent price for a great game.

My girlfriend loves her GameCube and when she moved in she brought it and wanted to play DoubleDash on it. Well her copy was beat up and I put it in and the disk was done. Everywhere I looked I couldn't find a good affordable price on a new disk until I found this one. I got it yesterday and tested it out today. After some cleaning of the disk and disk reader the game worked flawlessly. Thank you, you have no idea how happy my girlfriend will be to have this game back in action to play. Best mario kart game of all time!

So this is the best Mario Kart game I have ever played. The reason being is it is so fun to play multiplayer on it. Two people can ride a kart at a time which is really awesome! Better than I Expected

I bought Mario Kart: Double Dash, and it arrived on time and as described. There are hardly any scratches on the disk surface (I'm actually surprised with how pristine the disk's surface looks). There is a small crack on the inner edge around the center hole, but it has no effect on the game working (that area usually gets cracked from being taken in and out of the case).Lire l'avis complet...

Double dash is Beast

This game is my favorite. The graphics are great for its time and the gameplay reminds me on my youth. I just enjoy the only mario kart game that uses 2 players in one cart. Its double the fun!!!

Great racing game for all ages...a little overwhelming at first, until you get the hang of it. Then it's a BLAST! Nintendo has added some really cool stuff to the game and it's just a whole ton of fun. Now i haven't played it much, but you do have to unlock certain items. By winning cups on different difficulties (50cc,100cc, & 150cc) you unlock various cars/tracks. I'm not a big fan of that for a kids game, but i guess it makes you a little more curious to play the game longer than you typically would. You also pick 2 characters as oppose to one for your car. There's a driver and a tosser. Sometimes it can get confusing throwing objects because the game is moving so fast and it's hard to tell who's holding what.Lire l'avis complet...

Fun multi-player game!

Mario Kart: Double Dash is a fun multi-player game for the whole family. You get to play as all the classic Mario characters as you race go-karts and try to hit each other with items. Nintendo improved on the earlier Mario Kart games by adding more characters, more variety in the go-karts, and added a new 2-players style of racing. You can now pick two characters to use in a race, one character drives with the other throws items. This is especially fun when playing with other people because one person can control the driving while another person collects items and tries to hit other players with them. Bottomline - Mario Kart: Double Dash is a fun game and worth buying, especially if you are going to play with other people.

Pros: Fun multi-player modes, great kids game, easy to learn and play
