Very easy to understand. Great for planet reseach. it has solid basic information about all the plants in the book. I am very proud to own it. The back also gives information of herb suppliers, Seed and Plant. Also tells of Cooking with Herbs which has helped me alot. Ideals for planning an Herd Garden with some designs and information on where and how to plant the herbs so they do not blend together. also cultivating requirements and uses for all the best herbs. Great for teaching us how 2 heal using mother nature

What I really love about this book is that it teaches us how not to depend on chemicals\drugs that are fabricated to mimic natures way of healing. We have all fell prey to the convience of modern day medicine which nearly all have side effects and worse we have forgotten about the foundation of science medicine which is what nature is and has provided since the beginning of time.

This is a great little book for plant identification. It has photographs and drawings which are very good, the descriptions are very complete. There is a lot of information on the medicinal uses of common plants. The folklore of the uses is included as well as a section on growing your own herb garden. This is a great book to identify and learn about wild plants that can be used in herbal remedies and which parts of each plant is safe vs poisonous. It’s a great bit of survival knowledge! Highly recommend!!

This book is full of history of plant and herb usage throughout history. Great colorful illustrations and details of plants and herbs that grow, which climate is best, where they are found in abundance naturally, and their suspected healing properties or useages throughout time and in present day. Very Basic

The information is very basic although abundant. Some herbs were labeled dangerous when in reality the quantities that would make them dangerous would be impossible to consume.
