Good low cost GPS with nice features - had a few technical gliches that could be resolved easily

This GPS gives very good features for a low cost. Have been using it for 3 years now. If you are a little computer savvy, you can get the most out of it. I had issues like slowness and GPS getting stuck during navigation. I did two things which fixed everything: 1. Reset the device, 2. Connect the GPS to a computer, back up the contents of the GPS external drive to your local hard drive, format the GPS external drive, and then copy the contents back from local hard drive to GPS external drive. great for second car or student. Great first gps

I like the lifetime maps and lifetime traffic. I wanted an affordable gps for our commuter car, we have tomtom's in the other cars and love them but too expensive to put in the third car. This 2136T-LM is very slim and the screen is nice and clear. Very easy to program, voice is clear and loud enough, with turn by turn instructions. Great value if you can find it under 90 bucks. Not as feature rich as the more expensive models, no bluetooth, no gas prices, but good model for it's price.Lire l'avis complet...

A really good value for teh $$$$.

This is a good, overall GPS. I would recommend it. The screen is easy to use, read, and the voice is clear. It is not fancy, just basic for around town. Sometime I myself know a faster route, but listen to how the voice directs me. It always will get me there, sometimes the longer route. I love it and is a great investment Free updates and traffic to boot

Received the GPS and turned on, had a full charge showed my location. Time was correct. Display very clear.out in car and drove around town worked great. Took a trip to South Carolina and used the GPS and worked super. The traffic feature saved me about 5 hours getting me through high traffic areas and past accidents that would have had us stopped for hours. I bought this GPS for the features of lifetime maps and traffic. The 4.3 screen is easy to see. As far as I can see it is better then most other GPS's on the market. I have several older GPS's and am selling them. This one works great. I love the screen at freeway exits showing both and which one to take. This one saved me hundreds already in updates. Great Product, Great Value

Purchased this model because it was a name brand and had lifetime map updates. Got it out of the box, loaded the Magellan software on my pc and checked for updates. Was able to update to 2015 maps with NO PROBLEMS. I've used it several times now and the only issue so far is that this model takes a little long to re-route if you miss a turn. Seems like its best to slow down and give it a minute to get you back on track. Other than that it works great. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Easy to use. Packed with a lot of features and great value for the money.

Actually, this GPS unit worked right out of the box. Jammed packed with features my other unit did not have. ie: lane advance notification, live (free life time updates) for traffic AND free lifetime map updates. The ease of updating is impressive compared to my To*T*. Quicker for sure. I live in the mountains, so I was apprehensive of the units GPS receiver. However, no problems what so ever in obtaining sat. reception. I like the feature that allows for a key assignment for use of frequent searches (ie: casinos near me). Over all, I like the screen size, extra features like altitude, quick search with one key stroke for gas stations near me AND since I am a member, the AAA guide comes in real handy. I bought this GPS because I hear good thing about it. I like that I has a lifetime map updates and it tell live traffic events. It's a great sizes and very friendly user. I like going out of town and explore new places without worrying about getting lost, to me that's a great feeling . STUDENT BASIC GPS

I bought this gps for my granddaughter to use while she's at
college. The price was very good and it had a lot of the
features I wanted for her. She can program it easily and
does not have any problem using it. It helps to build her
confidence when going to unfamiliar places. A lot of the
other gps units had more features but this model was a good

I am very happy with this product. I have used it several times and everything functions properly. The voice command is very helpful so you don't have to look at display.
