Good tread gauge by an good old time US Made brand
Nice tread depth gauge - by a real old time automotive tool brand name and made in the USA! Simplifies whether of not to get tires and shows how not rotating causes tread disparities. Measures in 32nds of an inch. I found online that basically passenger vehicle tires come with about 10/32nds tread new, 5/32nds minimum recommended for snow, 4/32nds minimum for rain and under 2/32nds won't pass State Inspection here in NY. And you can take a reading on the tire and it stays put so you then lift it up where you can see it clearly to read the numbers.Lire l'avis complet...

Durable, made in the USA tool to measure remaining tread depth of auto tires.
Easy to use, easy to read. Only measures 32nds of an inch, does not have millimeter markings. I was happy to find a made in America tool and paid only a little extra over the cheap imported plastic ones from you-know-where. I'm sure this Milton S448 would out last any of those plastic ones and it doesn't need expensive watch batteries.Lire l'avis complet...

Good US tire gauge.
I like the gauge because it is in all 32's no mm scales. The black lettering on the stainless is a bit hard to read. After getting rease on the gauge it is a lot easier to read.
