This album was given to me on cassette 13 years ago when my daughter was a newborn. As I was learning how to be a mom and figuring out my baby's "routine" -- eat, play, sleep -- this music became part of our daily ritual before every naptime. I learned the words to all the lullabies so I could sing the songs to her, too. This album just became part of her babyhood . . . and childhood. And now that she is a teenager and making her own decisions about what music to listen to, she asked me to buy her this album on CD to replace the cassette that wore out long ago. I love the fact that she still finds this music soothing even as a teenager - but this album was part of her life literally from Day One, so I guess it's not too surprising. She can't remember a time when she wasn't listening to these songs, either on tape or sung to her by her mother. Wonderful traditional lullaby's on CD

My children listened to this every night on cassette tape. It was wonderful to find it on a CD, so that the next generation, my grandchildren, can also listen to this wonderful music. Joanie Bartels knows how to put children to sleep

This is a CD you can't easily find, but one that was wonderful at soothing, relaxing, and a terrific help in getting our kids to sleep on schedule. AS a father of 3 girls, I recommend it highly. Although, if possible, get it on cassette, as it will shut off automatically when the casette is done. This alleviates the potential fire hazard with a cd player remaining on.Lire l'avis complet...
