Slow in the start of the movie

This is going to be a mixed review. I was bored with the first part of the movie, kept thinking of ways they could have made it more entertaining, and I almost fell asleep 3 times. On the other hand, my husband and grandsons liked it, partly because for once it was guys that were the main characters, and they liked the buddy relationship. LUCA Italian merman boy

LUCA had charming Italian locals with the Italian language; yet English speaking only people aren't losing any of the enjoyment. Wonderful connection between the family characters.
