Easy to use,if...
The actual product seems well made and is reliable, so far. However, most instructions for use and set-up are in pictograph form and leave a lot to be desired. In the diagram that labels the controls the power switch is not shown, or labeled. In one of the pictographs it show the sliding of the switch, but does not indicate that is the power switch, and there is no indication that the switch needs to be turned off when finished using the product. Some modern devices automatically power down after a short period of non use to prolong the battery life, but this one does not automatically power down until the battery is dead as far as I can tell.
Likewise the receiver is not labeled or indicated in the diagram that labels the features and controls, or anywhere else, but it does mention the receiver in the trouble shooting section. Lire l'avis complet...

A Tool Every Presenter Should Have!
If you regularly do presentations (such as PowerPoint), this handy device is what you need. Rather than requiring an assistant to advance the slides or trying to clumsily use a wireless mouse, this remote will enable you, the presenter, to easily do it all yourself while staying out of the way of the screen. You can start the presentation, go forward or reverse, or black out the screen. The built-in green laser pointer helps you to bring items to the attention of the audience. The laser pointer works best on projection screens, but has some limited success with large video displays depending on the angle of use and type of glass on the screen. The R800 also has a timer that can be programmed to vibrate to remind you of your time limit.
Even better, there is NO software to load or any setup required. Just insert the receiver into a USB port on your computer and you're ready to go.
I managed a large conference center facility for several years and our clients really appreciated us having the R800 available. In fact, I liked it so much that I personally purchased one for use with my own presentations. Awesome device
Worked right out of the box with our new Mac air. Presentation buttons are easily understandable. The laser pointer is very handy. The Bluetooth usb dongle stores in the device so you never lose it. Long range PPT slide changer with green laser pointer!
Great product, fast service, would buy it again. Note that the USB dongle is made of very slippery plastic so it's hard for me to plug it in. Also, the green laser pointer is nice, but it will not show up on a big screen TV (I guess the TV is brighter than the pointer is.) Range is great, this is just what I needed.Lire l'avis complet...

It's OK
I bought this on the understanding that it would work on flat panel screens. NOPE! I even took it to a local electronics retailer and tried it on every screen in the place. NOPE! But, it is a powerful laser for use in a large room with a traditional screen. It is comfortable in the hand and operates the software as it should. Logitech R800
I in academia, and I use this product quite often in presentations. I like how well it syncs to my presentations in powerpoint. I just needed to plug it in and it worked. Works ok...
Bought this for green laser. Works ok, has a more flimsy feel to it than my old one (R400). Switch is not as positive feeling ... mushy feel rather than a positive "click". Would prefer R400 with green laser. But not a bad deal....Lire l'avis complet...
