Simply put,it's a great show!

Being a fan of Johnny's for many years,when I saw that this was available I had to have it. I got it almost immediately,and I love it. I personally attended many of Johnny's shows over the years,and this brings back a lot of memories of his earlier performances with Carl Perkins,the Carter Family and the Statler Brothers,who are all here for this one. Besides backing Johnny and June,they all do a song or two of their own. Of course Johnny and June do a few duets,and Johnny does many of his hits and a few penned by others. The visual and audio quality is top-notch throughout,and all in all it is great entertainment. There is an error in the song list however-Rock Of Ages is listed as one of the selections,but the song performed is actually Papa Was A Good Man (which mentions Rock Of Ages in it) from Johnny's A Thing Called Love album. For those who are familiar with the song Children Go Where I Send Thee,you are in for a treat here. This is the full-length version,not the condensed one that was put out on record later. I only have one regret,and that is that the show is too short. It is almost like the show started in progress,even missing the 'Hello,I'm Johnny Cash' introduction usually following Johnny's singing Ring Of Fire. Aside from that,I really think you will love it as I do. I just wonder why it took 35 years to be released! I'm not complaining though,because it is as if Johnny is still here bringing us more great entertainment,and I love that too!!Lire l'avis complet...

Very good DVD. I loved watching Johnny Cash and statler brothers perform their songs without all the modern-day videos and theatrics. Something all ages can watch-not "x-rated" like most videos almost are today.Lire l'avis complet...

IThe Man In Black - A Great Concert Performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This DVD is excellent!!! I really enjoyed this one alot!! Being a Johnny Cash fan, I just had to have this. Johnny really puts on a great show. He is joined by The Carter Family, Carl Perkins, and The Statler Brothers. I loved the part where Carl Perkins starts jamming on Blue Suede Shoes and Matchbox. At the end of the show, they all play together, and wow is it amazing. Cash fans will love this DVD. I know that I was not disappointed!!! This is a must have for any Johnny Cash fan. And am I glad that I didn't miss out on this one!! Johnny even speaks a little Dutch to the audience. And of course his singing is fantastic!!!!!Lire l'avis complet...

Great live Cash show,wonderful songs,fantastic quality,true colours & superb guest artistes.Audience a little subdued but they were Danish,they don't get excited about much!You'll get a tear in your eye when Johnny ,June & her sisters sing"Mama"Lire l'avis complet...

Another excellent, as always, performance form the Great "Man in Black" and the musicians that traveled with him on his live shows. A Great Concert, Keep them Coming!

Johnny Cash has always been my favorite singer.I never got to see him in concert,but this dvd is as good as it gets.I liked everything about it.
