Crafting meets Video Game

Got this for my wife who loves crafting (and the original LBP). Seems to be a great kid's game - no violence, bad language etc. Links up to PS Move so can be more interactive.

People of All ages

I bought 2 copies of LBP2 my son who is 7 plays and little brother whom is 16, they both love it in their own different ways.
My husband and I watch as they play and sit in amazement at all the different things they can do and create.
They can buy items and costumes, create their very own levels, play by themselves or play with friends online.
There is always something for them to do, no levels can be created everyday they sign on so there is usually something different one day that they didn't see the days prior.
The skill level seems to be easy enough that our 7 yr old son plays without asking for help.
What else is very nice is you can bring a lot of your items from the Original Little Big Planet over to part two.
This is a very fun and interesting game and would recommend it to anyone who asked!Lire l'avis complet...

Worth so much only because SACKBOY!!!

You probably heard the game is great, and yes it is. The map editor is a dream to the creative ones. The online community is fairly large and the game addresses all ages. The whole package is nice but worth all the extra money only because a genuine SACKBOY plush which, belive me, is rare to find. There's also a stupid game holder (give me a break), a couple of DLC coupons (worth 5$ aprox) and the actual game of course. I bought it to a 11 years old girl and she loved it! especially the SACKBOY which is just adorable.
For closing, buy this only if you're a fan of this game, otherwise buy the game itself and save the extra 20$.Lire l'avis complet...

Little Big Planet 2 Collector's Edition

What i like the most about this game is the authentic, and genuine inspiration on the game, i love the superb quality of the graphics and the complete structure of the stages. The collector's edition is a must for this one if you really love the sack person :). Personally i prefer LBP 1 because it feels a little bit more rustic, but both this games are great. LittleBigPlanet 2 (Collector's Edition) PS3

The game itself is great, the kids like it so that's what matters. As for the extra stuff that is included in the "collector's edition", it's kinda cheezy. The bookshelf ends are very cheaply made with wood-grained paper decal covering the surface. The doll itself is not very plush or pleasant feeling texturally so it sits as a novelty instead of actually being played with.
If I had to do it again, I would just buy the game and forego the extra $$ for the "Collector's edition"...Lire l'avis complet...

Good Collection, DLC has expired

The biggest selling feature of this Collector's Edition is the free DLC content. What isn't told is that the coupon code for it on the Playstation network expired in January of 2012. My family and I really enjoyed the first Little Big Planet so much we decided to get the second. The fact that it adds to everything you have already done so you are not starting over is awsome. This is an ever expanding game with more levels and dementions then I could ever explain. Great fun and excitment for the whole family, no matter what your age. Most unique and addictive game I've ever played.

Great game. Never thought it could get much better from the first LBP. Glad I was wrong. Collector's Edition has welcomed extras as well.

I decided to buy it in light of purchasing a PS3. It looked like a fun game, and good for my daughter, well not neccesarily for the online part, to have growing up. seemed like a child friendly game.
