i watched the show on tv when i was little and wanted to see the preimere movie/pilot. i am not collecting the enite series on dvd. it's a great and heartwarming show the ahve the whole family values the are definately lacking in today's society and the tv world.everyone should have this in their collection. even if they air it on tv. the dvd season set shows each episode it in it's entirety with nothing cut out and now it even has chapter breaks for people who can't finish a episode in one sitting.season 1 didn't have that. i am so proud of owning this show. when the world was just starting out starring our favorite tv family The Ingalls.Lire l'avis complet...

Fantastic family movie

This is a great family movie, the pilot episode to the "Little House on the Prairie" TV series. The cast is the same as you will see in the TV series. This full-length movie offers lessons about life and consequences of decisions, mostly from the perspective of a young girl (played by Melissa Gilbert). I believe it is an important addition to the TV series, preferably to watch prior to the series as it explains and details the move to the prairie, and leads up nicely to watching the series.Lire l'avis complet...

A Must Have For The Little House Collector!

If you are collecting all of the Little House seasons as we have, then you must buy this Pilot episode DVD as it is not included in any of the seasons or movie boxsets. All of Little House is so heartwarming, family oriented, and as my husband says, "a very wholesome show!" Our whole family loves Little House!
