PRO's & CON's

PRO: Is a good tool to have,
CON: Two of the sockets would fall out of the ratchet, the hex shape were undersized to where the spring loaded b-b could not hold the socket in place
PRO: contacted factory who sent me ones that stayed put
CON: Had to send the defective ones back on my nickle, that was a first for me
CON: For the price it should have been in one of those blow molded boxes to keep all the parts together

CON: Wish eBay gave a neutral selection box since there is a gray area between yes and no which is exactly where I would have chosen all three responsesLire l'avis complet...

Best tool for the job

Changing the serpentine belt on a transverse mounted engine is a different animal.
This set is what you need to get the job done, along with the usual youtube video viewing. Chances are that I will only use one of the drivers in my lifetime, but paying a little extra for the additional drivers was a small price to pay to get a quality, USA made product.

Name brand tools

I've bought quite a few Lisle brand tools life time guarantee, the only thing I can say on this is it's to bad they didn't make some sort of a case for it.

Ratcheting mechanism inoperateable under high loads

Works as intended, However doesn't fit into a lot of engines, Because of clearance issues.
I bought it because I needed more sizes of the ends to fit the Wide variety of bolts that hold
the idler pulley, And to be able to ratchet the handle Again because of clearance issues.
Using the ratcheting ability is VERY difficult. You have to use an additional helper Pry bar.
With the high loads on the tool while in use the ratcheting ability is VERY difficult to use.Lire l'avis complet...

Great tool

I have to recommend this like crazy.. I have a normal serpentine wrench and this one and it is way better because it helps in those tough spots to do things
