It's a "whale" of a good CD

The heavy guitar combined with the lyrics/singing create an awesome listening experience. I turn the volume up full blast in the car and cruise down the highway enjoying this amazing music. These guys are one-of-a-kind and I'm becoming one of their biggest fans. This is my 4th album and I love them all! An underrated band.

I heard the song Blood and thunder on Guitar Hero Metallica and decided to buy the cd, i was not disappointed. they have fast riffs and creative lyrics. the only thing that isn't great are the vocals. in some songs they can be somewhat hard to understand. Amazing Album

Great CD. Impressive music. For any fan of progressive metal, Mastodon is a must. Leviathan is incredible as it delves into technical, punishing guitar work. The drum work is insane.

Sound as big as a whale.

This is the Moby Dick of Mastodon records. The best one yet in my view. Its powerful and techincal and loud. These guys know just what metal fans want to hear.

I am Ahab!

When you hear that a killer metal group like Mastodon has written an album based on Melville's White Whale, you run to a record shop near you. God help you if you don't.

Everything I wanted. Everything was as expected. If you like Mastodon you wont be disappointed. If you're a Justin Bieber fan you will hate it. I love it.

This is a must have for any metal head From crushing guitar riffs to the mind blowing drum fills and snare rolls and the combination of brian and t-roys vocals
