Works great, and at a great price, but for a different purpose

I enjoy DIY audio and these On-Q Legrand connection kits make great speaker and amp binding posts. I simply remove them from their plastic plate and bingo I've got seven pair of binding posts for less than the cost of a single pair. Traditional binding posts require soldering but these have set screws which clamp down on bare wires for a good connection. Exterenally I use banana plugs with them but you could also use spades or bare wires. Now that this model has been discontinued by Lowes they turn up on eBay for very reasonable prices.Lire l'avis complet...

Great panel but the sub woofer jack is all wrong for most users.

The woofer jack on this wall plate is RCA on the outside but requires an F connector on the back side. This is dumb as most pre-amp setups require an RCA connection to get to this wall-plate. This means you have to purchase an additional adapter to make this connection work. At the vary least the manufacturer should tell you this in their advertising.
