Excellent series

Excellent series. My wife and i are enjoying them. I've read the books , my wife hasn't and she still is eager to see the next eppisode. Only regret is they stopped at 2 seasons

a little on the cheesy side but a must for sot fans

I need to start by saying that the Sword of truth(SOT) by Terry Goodkind is one of my favorite fantasy novels series, so im a little picky. The TV show was a little on the cheesy side (i.e. Conan, Zena, or Hercules),at times the CG is overdone,and i really disliked the casting for Zed. However with that said it was nice to see these characters come alive in my living room. all in all i would give it a 7 out of ten, and still say that it is a must watch for fans of the SOT book series.Lire l'avis complet...

Good fantasy series based on Terri Goodkind's books.

Wonderful fantasy series based on the Terri Goodkind books. Saw it when it came out but never the whole series. Well worth watching.

Different from the books but still very good.

I love the three main characters, the New Zealand scenery is splendid, the production values are very high and it keeps the spirit of Terry Goodkind's books. Bridgett Regan as Kahlan will simply steal your heart. Bruce Spence is a wonderful choice for Zedd.

What do I dislike? I wish they had followed the books. The stories in the n=books were magnificent. Perhaps, the producers wanted to do a more episodic series rather than a mini-series type format.

I bought the DVD because I couldn't find the series on my local TV. The people I bought from had the right price.

If you're a fan of the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind, give this series a chance. It's different but very good.Lire l'avis complet...

It has always been a good book and good series. It has strong characters and alot of adventure.

Legend of the Seeker Excellent TV!!

This series is based on "The Sword of Truth" series of books by Terry Goodkind, in my estimation the best series of its type I have ever read. The TV series is exciting and superbly acted. A lot of series based on books somehow fall short, but this one does not! It has a lot of swordplay and fighting action, and while I would not recommend it for younger children, my twelve-year-old grandson loves it as much as I do. The second season is currently being broadcast, and I will definitely be in line to purchase it also when it is available. Craig Horner is extremely handsome and talented, Bridget Regan is beautiful, and Bruce Spence excellent! The scenery is also gorgeous. All in all, if you like action-packed heroic saga with more than a touch of magic, this is the series for you! I rate this series 5+ stars.Lire l'avis complet...

Lightweight story however entertaining most of the time.

AT times predictable with sometimes scratching your head about "how did he know how to do that". A bit corny at times. Overall entertaining.
