I don't know the ins and outs of the video game industry that well. I can say from a casual gamer's perspective, Valve is titan of video game development. The few and far between games they do release seem to be pet projects. There's not a bad game on their roster (Half Life, Portal, Team Fortress, Dota, etc). Left 4 Dead 2 is no different.

Left 4 Dead 2 ups the gore, weapons, graphics, and multiplayer features like a great sequel should. And where it slightly dials down the horror atmosphere of the first installment, it cranks the fun up to 11.Lire l'avis complet...

Zombies!!!!!!!!!!

Left 4 dead is another installment to the left 4 dead series. anyone whos played left 4 dead knows whats to expect. hordes of zombies coming at you from all directions, but this time valve has given the characters a little upgrade. now players have melee weapons which solves the problem of getting bogged down by zombies crowing you. now a simple smash from your axe will swat them like flies. besides the melee, new special zombies, weapons, ammo upgrades, and after getting the downloadable content, a new variation to the game. Valve is mixing up the rules, the last variation (called mutation)was headhunter, which makes the zombies impervious to damage except for head shots. this game alone is amazing, i for 1 love the ability to kill an endless supply of zombies, but with the new mutations coming out weekly this game is a no brainer.Lire l'avis complet...

My boys liked, but my moo-moo didn't.

Definitely an entertaining game. However, it is really bloody and if the player is a youngun, make sure they realize that this game is MAKE BELIEVE and that the only similiar thing on earth they might see is participating in an underwear Blue Light Special at K-mart. You have your eyes on that right purty floral moo-moo, then you see Darla Jean's eyes flicking between you and the moo-moo. She wants it only because she's getting you back for that little dippin' snuff fiasco a couple of years back. Yep, take away the blood, add the hands full of yanked out hair and it almost looks like that Left 4 Dead 2 gameamathing bloody game or one of my family's get togethers minus Uncle Cletus relieving himself off the side porch.Lire l'avis complet...

Just ordered the last copy for this cheap GameStop should take up Ebay’s listing prices they are charging 30$ for this game and I can get it for 13 but overall it’s a amazing game I got rid of it and now that I think back I should of never god rid of it because it was so much fun to playLire l'avis complet...

Pretty godly game and godly shipper too

Lemme tell y'all something, my package was delayed by a couple days and this person emailed me apologizing! They are amazing. And so is this game. Thank you for giving me the chance to play it again. I like shooting zombies.

I just like to shoot zombies. The hell with story lines and subtle plot details. No frustrating features like "you need the red key to open this door". Just shooting. That's what the Left 4 Dead series is. This one is great, not as good as the first I think, but still good. Love the availability of Melee weapons. Even if a chainsaw would be a terrible weapon against anything in real life, but then again, real life has very little replay value.Lire l'avis complet...

A good amount of similar gameplay..

I bought this game because several of my LIVE buddies said that it was very good. I played the first L4D also, and after playing L4D2, i have have to say that it looks very pretty and it has its good moments during the gameplay. However, there is nothing really amazing in this game compared to the first one. The only good thing about the regular campaign is the cool environments, and the new melee weapons that help alot in the time of need. I havent played any of the other modes yet, so dont take what ive wrote so far into consideration for that.

However, if ur gonna get this game, make sure that you have XBOX Live to enjoy the most, and that you have friends playing this. If you dont have friends playing this, make sure that your teammates have headsets. If they dont want to talk, leave them for another campaign in which they are actually talkig. Communication plays a huge role in this game.

Best zombie game ever!

This is my favorite zombie game. I like the co-op play and the different difficulty levels. The campaign is great and the dialog between characters funny!

The Best Multi-Player game of All Time!

I have had not hours and hours of Fun...But Years and Years of it!!! Get a Mic and Co-op you're way thru Campaign and Versus Mode (there is also Survival and Scavenge mode but they are rather Boring to me). The game is 8 years old now and still is not dated.. this is a 4 man or 4 infected squad based game. You can play by yourself with 3 computer players but why when you can talk to other players and devise strategies to beat the Campaign or beat another 4 man squad in versus mode. There are DLC's with additional maps and all the maps for Left 4 Dead 1 for this game that are Great fun. The game comes with 5 maps and each map has 4 or 5 sections, One of the DLC's has something called Mutation mode which is another 20 odd variations to play either Campaign or Versus mode. Left 4 Dead 2

It is a fast paced zombie shooter you are able to play as the zombies and the characters them selves use a variety of weapons to kill the zombies. As well as you are able to use all the zombies. The zombies are given a special skill you can use when you are in use of a zombie and destroy the enemy players. I like that you can play as both the zombies and the people. As well as the variety of weapons you can use to wipe out the zombies. I dislike that you can only have 2 weapons at a time but it dose make it more challenging.
