Bold and creative view by Stefan Herheim in highlighting the internal emotions transferred to the stage.

A La Bohème for those who know the opera. It is a bold creative work, not linear, maybe confusing. Among the staging details, it uses sometimes a heart monitor medical projection that I saw in Der Kobold DVD(2005), performed by Nuremberg Symphony. Overall good singing, Jennifer Rowley's Musetta with an acting and singing understanding of her role to the histrionic, or exagerated, side.
