LG’s costeffective Network Blu-Ray player– worth buying

I am technical person, who do product analysis before I buy, I looked for Blu-Ray Player that can fit to my current DVD player of 1000W RMS out put. With this mind, I searched and found this LG BD370 – that also can connect to internet to play you tube and netflex.
I used the optical output from LG BD370 to my current DVD home theater system Optical in. Now at low cost, I got very good quality of Blu-Ray Player and 1000W RMS sound effect. Very happy, the picture quality is amazing, 1st BD I purchased is I-Robot, oh my, how much picture quality, at my 52” TV, awesome, some, my DVD collections plays well with better picuture quality compare to my current DVD player, this means, Playing DVD on Blu-Ray player also very good, compare to playing in old DVD branded player. In Total, very much satisfied and I can recommend to friends to buy the same. Unlike other top brand, I know LG developments are very good and combative. They do have their own technology unlike other top brand name with competitors’ components inside of their product.

It’s something better than a Blu-ray player when you can stream thousands of movies, videos and shows direct to your TV from CinemaNow, Netflix and YouTube directly from the Internet . Not to mention it plays Blu-ray discs in stunning 1080p, Full HD and upscales standard DVDs in near-HD quality.

After searching and reviewing just about all available sub $250 blu ray players, I stumbled upon this little gem from LG. The LG BD370 is priced at the entry level market, however its features go far beyond entry level. For starters it's profile 2.0 BD Live ready, It looks gorgeous, its very fast loading, with a number of user selectable skins.

Another good feature is the inclusion of Youtube, so you can browse and watch Youtube videos on your HD TV.

The best feature of this player is that it will also play Divx HD and Xvid HD, or .MKV files along with normal divx files.Lire l'avis complet...

Nice Product and Well Worth the Price

I paid $168 total for this unit. I did buy it off of Ebay but the seller had a sterling reputation so I was not worried. I could have purchased the WiFy version (BD390) but the additional $100 was not worth it. Nice and easy setup. I have a hard-wired network connection close by and everything fell into place. The up-conversion with a regular DVD was noticeably better than my old OPPO unit. I have not joined Netflix yet but it looks very easy to set up for movie downloads. YouTube access was awesome. Once you plug it in the Blu-Ray interface walks you through all of the setups. So someone with a high level of computer knowledge down to the novice will find this unit enjoyable. I love this player!

I was waiting for a Blu-Ray player with Netflix streaming to come into my price range--Well, this one did, and it's everything I wanted and more! The picture quality is excellent, the menu for the Netflix streaming is straight-forward and easy to use, the download speed is just fine, and I have had no problems with this unit or it's remote.
If you want the ability to stream Netflix movies directly to your Blu-Ray player for immediate viewing, and do it for a decent price, then this is the player for you!Lire l'avis complet...

Nice older unit

I wanted a DVD/BLURAY player with RCA outs for an older system. All the new units only have HDMI connections. Would have given 5 stars but no remote was included. No big deal as I have a Logitech Harmony to control my system. Bought another as a spare.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent DVD Player

I bought this as a gift for a friend, who recently got a 1080p wide screen LCD, he also has a netflix subscription the purchase made sense.

He loves it and had this to say about it as to why.r>
It has a fast loading speed and was easy hook up, great picture quality

I just love this LG Blu Ray Disc Player. The picture is very clear and the sound is just wonderful. I hooked up the wireless internet connection to it. Now I can veiw t.v. programs or even movies that I want to see but don't want buy at the store(s). I bought blu ray due to the fact that stores and internet sites are going to blu ray disc players but most it was the great quality of the picture that sold me. Best picture I ever had on my tv . Make sure you get a really good HDMI wire for it for best quality . Alot of features , netflix streaming for small fee, utube for free and others . Gives a new meaning to watching tv ! LG blu-ray player addition

Already own 3, one new, the others are used, needed one more. Have had no problems with any of them. I'd say pretty reliable so far. No complaints with this one, I'm satisfied.

I purchased the LG BD370 Blu-Ray Player for my husband as a Christmas gift. He was thrilled. We love it because we can stream movies from Netflix as well as watch regular DVDs and bluerays. The player itself works well and is easy to use. I highly recommend this player to anyone who has bluray and intends on using Netflix to stream movies in.
