Great Sequel
The new Lego Star Wars is a great game. You have two choices when playing, the first is story mode where you basically follow your way through each episode which is a nice addition. The other option is free play where you can play as any of the many playable characters and unlock secrets. The graphics are very nice in this game but what I really like is the addition of vehical levels. This game is not really that hard to beat but unlocking all the secrets can get very difficult. The replay value with this game is huge because of all the unlockable players and you can use the lego pieces you collect throughout the game to purchase new players, cheats, and different mods to change game play. You can even create your own playable character out of lego pieces. Once in awhile during game play I did experience some bugs which was kind of annoying but exiting game play usually resolved the problem. I also did not really like the camera view during game play, I really would have hoped you could have more control over it maybe with the trigger buttons since they dont have a function on this game, but once you get the hang of how to move your character with the camera its not too bad. This could have been a great game.
When I first started playing this game I was very pleased with it's graphics and game play. But as I got further in the game I noticed some glitches that make playing all the way through this game nearly impossible.
As I progressed in the game the first thing I noticed was that sometimes the background graphics would disapear or the players head would disappear. Sometimes the camera angles would get so bad that you could not see where you were going. I have also gotten my player stuck in a place and could not get out or the game would freeze and you would have to cut the DS off and start the level over. But I do have to say that most of these glitches can be played through without many problems with a little patience.
The main problem with this game is that when looking for the cannisters in each level, I have come to the conclusion that there is at least 1 cannister that does not exsist,(1 in the speeder chase level). I have gone on every online forum about the DS version of this game and it seems that no one has found it. I am at 99% completion of this game.
Even with these glitches I still find myself going through levels I have already completed because they are fun to play. If I ever find the last cannister I would definitely give it a higher score. I would have considered this game a 9 out of 10 if it did not have these problems. But with them it is basically just average.Lire l'avis complet...
Lego StarWars II
When I first got it and I started playing it it completely shut down my DS so I took the game out turn my DS back on put the game in and it said that there is no data on the game to be played. So I shut my DS off with the game inside my DS turned it back on and it started playing then it froze and it said the game was pulled out of the system. The best of the Star Wars games!
My husband is an avid fan of Star Wars and has probably played almost every game out there with the title. He became addicted to this one and now my youngest girl can't get enough! At first it seemed a bit strange, you know, with the characters being made of Lego and all, but the gameplay was great and you come to really enjoy blasting others into little Lego pieces. The game also has replay value as you can unlock many different characters along the way and start all over again. This will make an excellent Christmas gift.Lire l'avis complet...
Solid Lego title for the pocket Nintendo
Arrived in perfect condition, probably the best lego game for the GBA that I've ever played in terms of graphics and gameplay. That is right! The secret is the DROP IN/DROP OUT CO-OP mode. This way if you are tired from work you can still spend a few minutes with the punk-punks and have a good time. Great Game/Great Buy
I bought this product for my 10-year-old son and his DS at his request as a reward for good grades. It's a very popular game in our house. We have since acquired an entire stable of DS handheld game systems and the boys can play this game together (with some battling limitations). They all like the game well enough that they are requesting another copy for more interactive battling.
I've only played the PS2 version of Lego Star Wars, and it keeps me entertained with clever little Lego characters based on the Star Wars series. They are learned to sit patiently for the back-stories, which I find somewhat tedious. All in all, I know a handheld version of this game can keep a bunch of boys quiet for many miles in the car!Lire l'avis complet...
A Good Game
I purchased this game for my son's 9th birthday, as he also received the DS Lite for the same birthday. I like this game because I was around for the original Star Wars Trilogy and have actually tried to play the game, but I can't use the buttons and was killed, so I gave up.

This is my favorite Nintendo DS game.
This game is incredibly funny.
You start out with 2 basic characters Princess Lela and Rebel Trooper.
As you move up in story mode you unlock free mode. You get to choose any variety of character that you have unlocked or created.
There are many extras that change the scenery or the characters in story or free play mode.
What I like best about it is how when the characters are destroyed they characters fall to peices and then they come back together again.Lire l'avis complet...

It works perfectly and it's been a lot of fun playing this lego video game. I certainly am having a great time with it.
