I Love Lego

This item was fun to put together. I did it with my seven year old grandson. It took about four hours on a Saturday. It was a used set so I bought it at a good price. All of the parts seemed to be there. However, the small 9v micro motor did not work. I checked with Lego.com, but found that these motors are no longer made and so could not purchase a new replacement. It took about five weeks to find a spare micro motor on eBay and now the piece works as it is supposed to. My grandson plays with this set every time he visits and loves the detachable UFO on the rear section. I like the animated fiber optics and added four flashing lights above the engine housing. Excellent set, my kid enjoyed it so very much! This set has magnets and the light, it's truly magnificent LEGO set.

Awesome set. Really one of the best.

I love this set. For being from the early 1990’s it has so many play features and is soooo cool. My little nephew even said lego doesn’t build them like this anymore. You will have to replace the little micro motor. They are not available/expensive. I modified my set to use a much more common 9v lego motor compatible with the original electrical system. So with the flashing front lights, motor and fiber optic light running this set is really spectacular to see in the dark. Lire l'avis complet...

Great 90’s LEGO set

Building is refreshing. Has different building methods than the new sets. Great mini figures. Fiber optic lighting works great.
