Good for hours of fun!

I love lego products, and collect the Harry Potter series, and this is a great set! It has several activated areas, including doors that swing open, walls that pop off/break open, and a triggered slide from the bathroom to the basement that works really well. There are all the characters from the chamber scene, including Fawkes and the basilisk. The basilisk has glow in the dark fangs, which was a favorite with my niece. The set also includes the sword of Griffindor, Riddle's diary, and the sorting hat. The face of Slytherin is well made, and the use of clear blue bricks for the water is inventive. So fun!

This is a fantastic LEGO set for any Harry Potter fan. After the fun of building the Chamber of Secrets, the play value keeps the set entertaining. There's a trap door from Moaning Mertyl's bathroom that allows the characters to fall into the chamber. The statue of Salazar Slytherin opens up to allow the basilisk out. Two of the walls in the chamber are on a mechanism that allow them to swing open when you push in on another piece. Two other doors will collapse when pushing on a separate piece. The figures are great (Tom Riddle, Ginny Weasley, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Gilderoy Lockhart), and the extras are really cool too (a potions tile, the (giant) basilisk, the sorting hat, Riddle's diary, Fawkes the phoenix, and the sword of Gryffindor. Lego Harry Potter discontinued set came in great shape and quickly.

Everything was in the box intact,just as i expected. It got home pretty quickly too. Since it is a product that has been discontinued, i was worried that it might not be in the best shape. Now that my son loves the Harry Potter movies he saw this product in a book and he was desperate to get it. No fear in this case, everything was in place. For the Lego Harry Potter fans this is a must have because you don't know when it will not be available anymore. So i recommend you get it now before it's too late.Lire l'avis complet...

Great, fun set...on the pricey side, but worth it for the play time!
