Despite the fact that few pieces were missing, among them one door of the fire station (which is hard to replace), we love the product. The pieces stay in place, the instructions were easy to understand. My 4 1/2 year old can almost do it on his own but that's because he likes it and have patience for it. He plays with it everyday. We have the knight castle from 2010 and the pieces do not stay in place, always break down and drives my son nuts. The reviews of the new fire station also talked about pieces not staying together, that's why we decided to buy the older version of the fire station.
