Can't beat a keurig but this ain't the original "Select"
You can't go wrong with a Keurig but don't compare this with the original Keurig Select.
Positives:
14 cup option
Extra hot brewing option
Easy to use
More compact for counter space
Cons:
Don't like the automatic shut off feature. Unless you disarm the auto shut off, the machine shuts off within an hour forcing you to wait and go through the warm up stage
Small water tank; have to fill after every three cups
Seems to take longer to brew than eariler models

New model, same dependability

Simple, Streamlined Keurig A Good Choice
You won't get to select your temperature, or strength of the brew (except by serving size), but this model is fast and so much more quiet than my old Keurig classic.It's got a matte black plastic which is kind of cool and it offers a 12-ounce option which I love.
It doesn't have a color touch screen and it doesn't have any onboard computer to read the bar codes of your K Cups. But it brews perfectly every time and I can get a cup of coffee in under a minute.
Not to mention that this model isn't nearly as expensive as the Keurig 2.0 models.Lire l'avis complet...

Best Low-Cost K-Cup Machine!
I kike that it also has a feature for selecting "Strong" brew, and that is has a replaceable charcoal filter.

Think before you buy.
I liked that it brewed coffee so quickly. Buying the k-cups gets very expensive, especially when there are four adults in the house. I prefer tea in the morning. Too many times it tastes like coff-tea because the needle(s) keep residue behind. I tried running a cup of hot water through first. It helped somewhat. It's much cheaper to use a regular coffee maker, and better to use a tea kettle for hot water.

Easy everything. Makes a great cup of coffee, the travel size is perfect for my cup. Bought the reusable pod for my own brew works great!

Very nice coffee maker. It's easy to use, brews quickly, and works well with both K-cups and pods for ground coffee. I like the size of the water tank. Very nice newer model replacement.
Very nice and more modern replacement for older models. Like the addition of the strength and travel mug options. The automatic (rather than the older version with the button) 2hr timer is also convenient. Did used to like the light for the heating function on the older model, but this one will start the brewing function automatically when the water is sufficiently heated.Lire l'avis complet...
