Great for kids, but short on replay...

We ordered this for a kids birthday party that included ages of 10 up to 16. Though it has many older songs as well as some newer ones, kids still seem to enjoy them and the game play. The game is cute and kids seem to enjoy it.

For the price I got it at, about half original cost, it's probably a good buy. It will serve it's purpose but will end up gathering dust after the initial craze.

Some sort of "additional songs" to win, eg: Rock Band or Guitar Hero, might have been a nice addition so the kids would have to work to open everything up. This would extend the use and also give new content. A larger amount of songs or changing dance moves could have been an option too. Also, possibly a downloadable content would have been nice if possible.Lire l'avis complet...

Just Dance for Wii

I just got this game today and I love it. It's the first game I have bought for my Wii and it really can be a good cardio workout. I at least attempted all of the songs, some I did well on, others not so well. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star game is I kept seeing misses on the dance steps when I thought I was doing it right, sometimes it's a bit hard to see exactly what movement to make. I was surprised to see that leg and feet movement do help your score, I wonder how a system can detect those movements just from a remote attached to one hand. I do warn against overdoing it at first if you aren't used to a strenuous workout, my left arm has been cramping because I played for several hours with few breaks.Lire l'avis complet...

Wii hand control for aerobic dance is great, but the tunes are lousy

I bought this product to use as an aerobic exercise video. I love to dance and I liked the idea of being able to use the Wii hand control, instead of trying to follow foot placement on a mat. I have not used this product as a "game" with other players, although I think that is the main purpose of the product. This product definitely fulfills my purpose - it's a great workout and as long as you're not interested in your score, it works very well. The only thing with which I'm not happy is the choice of tunes. I don't mind "oldies" but this selection is very heavily "80's" oriented. Songs that were not originally dance type songs have been "remixed" to work well for dance moves - but some of the songs in the "remix" version are a little jarring to my ear. I find that in order to get a good workout all over, I need to go thru all the songs - and as silly as this sounds, I really dislike dancing to a song of which I'm not fond. That's why I gave "Just Dance" version I a 3 star review.
I have been told that "Just Dance" II has much better tunes, so when the prices start to drop on that version or some used games start appearing on e-by, I'll consider another purchase. The concept is great!Lire l'avis complet...

Just Dance, fun for the whole family!

We originally puchased this as a gift for my 11 year old daughter. We had planned her birthday party as a dance party and broke out the game. It was a big hit with everyone (even mom and dad) enjoyed it. Up to four people can play head to head (make some room between you though). Those that aren't playing can dance also. One drawback is that it only uses the one controller and you could literally cheat and sit on your behind, moving only the one arm and do well. Also, It would be nice to add additional titles. just dance I, for Wii

Fun game for young kids through adults. Its easy enough for my 2 year old to play, because they dont have to push any buttons on the Wii remote, just hold it and move to the music. My older kids (8 & 10) enjoy the music and dance moves. Some moves are simple and some more complex and they can choose their level of difficulty via their song choices. They can choose to compete against each other also. As an adult, we can enjoy doing the dances with our children and get a nice little work out!! Only down side......not enough songs. just dance for wii

I saw this game on youtube and I became in love with just seeing how everyone seemed to be having so much fun dancing,so I bought it that same day.What I love about this game is that u really move and sweat doing exercise.I mean if you are a shy person like and me and its afraid to go into a gym just because its embarrassing that other people see you dance then you might want to consider buying this game.Also it is a great game for parties.Lots of fun with the 32 songs that it has.I do agree however that it lacks more songs or something that might enable the user to buy or acquire new songs.I have just played it once and its already kind of boring.Also dont over do this game because it could lead to serious pain in your body,or atleast if you are not used to it then dont.Overall its a Good game to laugh to and enjoy,Ill give it a 8 out of 10Lire l'avis complet...

Just what I wanted- Again!

I misplaced this game and it was the best of the ten or so I own. It was nice to find an available version here. It looked to be in very good condition and it has worked fine for the few times we have used it so far.

Loved It!

I bought this to have something active for the kids to do, but also something that I would actually enjoy playing with them. This was exactly what we were looking for. They get a kick out of me participating, and I enjoy most of the songs. Dad enjoys the Guitar Hero, Rock Band games with them ( I stink at those, and enjoy dance stuff more), it also gets your heart racing, great for rainy days stuck in the house. Not to worry if you're no dance expert, I have one coordinated kid and one with two left feet, both enjoy this just as much.

The only con would be the need for more music. Wish it could download others songs. This is not enough to deter me from saying "Buy It!"Lire l'avis complet...

Everyone that has a Wii, should get "Just Dance"!

I originally purchased "Just Dance" just because it was for my Wii, and want to collect a variety of games for it.However, after trying "Just Dance", I have placed it at the top of my favorites because it is perfect for a great cardio-workout! Even if you can't dance, after using "Just Dance" for about a week, you will not only dance like the stars, but you'll be full of energy! It is the best get-up-and-move game I have ever played! You'll exercise and think you're just having fun! Old and young alike can use this and get the benefits of a great work-out while having great fun.And it's lots of fun to challange a friend or family member and have laughs while working out! These are great games to get you moving! I was hesitant at first to buy these but i'm so glad that I did! I've been more active and I can honestly say that I have had more fun playing these games on the wii than any other game on the wii! I highly recommend!!Lire l'avis complet...
