John Pinette Will Leave You Laughing

John Pinette is a comical genius. He's mostly clean, open and man is he FUNNY. Anyone who gets this will greatly enjoy his humor and delivery. It's sad that such a funny person was taken from us but his comedy will live on (Lord, knows, I've stole a lot of his jokes). From beginning to end, this DVD is non-stop humor that might lead to peeing yourself just a little bit from laughing. Get all of his DVD's, you won't be sorry! Full of laughs

John Pinette's stand up routines are glimpses into the world of a fat guy. His adoration of food is as passionate as his hatred of salad. Classic bits include his role in the Broadway musical Hairspray, his visit to a restaurant in Italy, and how his friends love to take him places where he can get hurt. If the water park routine doesn't send you into fits of laughter, you may wanna check your pulse.

The best part is, John Pinette's stand up is relatively profanity-free! He does use one or two swear words through the duration of his hour long set. Aside from that, this is great comedy for all ages.Lire l'avis complet...

Sad to see him go

John Pinette was one of the freshest and funniest comedians of our time. His humor covered a wide range of subjects in a quick and witty fashion; each as entertaining as the last. If John doesn't leave you on the floor crying in hysterics, better see a doctor! Very sad to have lost him at such a young age. We can however, celebrate the joy and laughter he brought to our lives. Absolutely hilarious!

Give John Pinette about ten minutes to really get rolling and warmed up - you won't regret it. This is his best work, in my opinion. You will laugh yourself breathless before the show is over. So much of what John refers to is common experience, hence it's easy to understand and laugh about them. I greatly appreciate that he is funny with very little swearing or vulgarity. Want to laugh till you cry?...GET THIS DVD of John Pinette..I have seen it on Netflix more than eight times and am STILL LAUGHING!

His delivery and his facial expressions are unmatched by any comedian out there today!...I personally miss John!...I miss his sweetness and his impeccable ability to take a subject and make it so darn right hilarious!!

John was about to deliver his latest funny stand-up routine, but within hours before doing so, John suffered a MASSIVE heart attack in his apartment, and passed away. His loss is a terrible blow to clean, funny humor!..John did not need to use profanity and crude filthy gestures to make things laughable, because he was sophisticated, and had CLASS!!

John Pinette - I'm Starvin' (2007, DVD)

If you couldn't get enough of John in his first DVD - then here is another serving at the buffet!
My family and I finally got to see John in March 2008 in person in upstate New York and we just cried tears of laughter. He makes your stomach hurt. As usual - his routine is clean enough for everyone to appreciate, but definitely not short on originality and giggles.
We only hope that a 3rd DVD comes out soon with some of the material that we saw him perform in 2008. In the meantime, grab yourself "I'm Starvin" and the next time you find yourself standing behind someone at a buffet table just yell, "Get out of the line!" I actually bought this as a Christmas gift for a dear friend. I am very particular about the presents I give, but I had seen this on TV and knew it was perfect. This DVD just makes you laugh out loud-the kind of laughter that if you were drinking milk, it would come out of your nose. John Pinette is an absolute riot and his sense of humor is easy to relate to, nothing profane or offensive, just everyday situations he views with a particular point of view. Watching this makes you want to see everything Pinette has done and after discovering him you want to make sure all your friends discover him too. It is a rare comic that makes me feel that he is an original, memorable, and just plain funny.Lire l'avis complet...

Comedy as it should be.

I purchased this dvd as I remembered seeing John Pinette briefly a couple of years ago on a TV show doing his now classic Chinese Buffet piece. I was not disappointed! All of this material was new to me, and although it started a little slow, one quickly realizes that he builds on his comedy dialogue adding piece by piece, and as he progresses the pieces fall into place. His perfomance is absolutely hilarious! We laughed harder than we've laughed in years! My wife literally had tears running down her face from laughing so hard! One of the facets of John Pinette that we truly appreciate is that he does not have to resort to vulgarity and crudeness to be funny. Not to say that there isn't a spot or two that's a little "blue", but it is not the focus of the humor. I would HIGHLY recommend this piece of work to anyone who is looking for fresh, funny material, delivered in a manner that is truly memorable! I will be watching for more performances from this comedian. He is one of the few that I would be eager to pay to see in person.Lire l'avis complet...
