MC "Jin" is on par and has much potential. Peace.

I bought "Jin: The Making of a Rap Star" because I was IMPRESSED after watching the DVD owned by Netflix. Hip-hop culture is dominated by Black males. Western culture does not give much credit to Asians although there are more Chinese restaurants in USA than McDonalds AND "Made in China" is seen on alot products in the average home. "JIN" IS CHINESE. Chinese people, as I know them, are quiet and rarely seen in the community. "JIN" HAS SWAGGER, INFLECTION, AND WAS SIGNED TO RUFF RYDERS LABEL, SO HE BREAKS ASIAN STEREOTYPE. People forget about Chad and Pharrell, Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Yao Ming, Kevin Hawkins, Russell Simmons, Martin Yen and other Asians who demonstrate PROWESS. The film is likable because I perceived Jin as a "one-hit wonder", but JIN HAS SOUL AND THAT MAKES HIS "STYLE GEN-U-INE" (either u have it or u don't). The idea of Asians having "baby-face" and quiet demeanor leads You to think they are "soft", don't be fooled; again, reference the aforementioned Asians. Plus, The East is a civilization that is hundreds of years ahead of The West and is not pressed to prove "its Self". Ruff Ryder owners have street credibility, so they saw skills when they signed Jin. Peace!Lire l'avis complet...
