I love Jekyll, I am sad that disc one episode 2 halfway through and episode 3, skip etc. I hope after a good cleaning it will play properly. The second disc is mint.

Jekyll is the name but Hyde is the star...

I bought this because I saw it on BBC television earlier this year. I've been waiting for it to come out. James Nesbit (SP?) does an incredible job of portraying both sides of the personality, but he SHINES as Hyde.

This is a full updating of the story complete with alternate ending! Dont expect your fathers Jekyll and Hyde. This is a complete modernization of the tale.

I still love this!! One of my favourites!!!!

modern and interesting

It was a great modern take on an old tale. The main character was absolutely the best, the casting could not have been better....and he's British, so it's even funny. The ending wasn't the best, but it was still a riveting movie...we watched the whole thing from start to finish, it was that engrossing. We had seen an episode or two on regular t.v. and loved it so much, that I bought it for my husband for Father's Day.Lire l'avis complet...

Aren't British actors great?

I got this because it was written by Steven Moffat, the current head writer on Doctor Who. The actors are all BBC/Moffat regulars. It was very entertaining.
The thing that I found unbelievable, even in this context, was Michelle Ryan's wardrobe. What straight man wouldn't become dangerous with her running around the house dressed like that? Is that how nurses in GB dress?Lire l'avis complet...

With plot twists and turn that you just wont guess, this series has been one of the bests that the BBC has to offer.

Jekyll is creepy, scary, and mesmerizing!!

Jekyll

This show was great and I only happened upon it by chance when watching my other favorite BBC America show, HEX, I think this is a beautifully constructed series and it's definitely a must own!!!

Amazing

Watched it as it aired on BBC America and me and the hubby were hooked. Stays true to the original story at the base but so much more for a new audience.
